  • New Mom wanting to T-Tapp

Hi I am 21 weeks pregnant with our first child. I have been T-Tapping off and on for the last 6 years. The last time I T-Tapped regularly was pry a year ago. So my question is can I get back into it when I am pregnant or is that going to harm my baby? I don’t want to do anything that might cause miscarriage but I need some kind of exercise while I am pregnant.

Congratulations! If you have no contraindications health-wise, you can certainly continue to work out. You will omit Organs in Place, both before The Box move and on the floor. What workout do you have?

Trainer Margaret Barry filmed a pregnancy workout and I know there are plans to release it but possibly not for a bit yet due to Teresa's passing. I know Margaret found MORE and Senior Fit to be great for working out with her first pregnancy.

Let me know what workout(s) you have and we'll go from there! DO listen to your body and don't overdo.

I have BW+, TW, HTF, A tempo one. Those are all that I have... Before getting pregnant I used the BW+ all the time! And of course always did OIP but I won’t do those now. So can I do one of those?

Congratulations! I did T-Tapp throughout my fifth pregnancy (after the all-day sickness went away) and it helped me so much.

I did BWO+, SATI, and First Steps 1, 2, & 3 (4 hadn't been made yet. First Steps is similar to Senior Fit). I know that trainer Michelle Barbuto did TWO during pregnancy because the newer workouts weren't out yet.

Being 21 weeks your HCP may advise you to avoid floor workouts.

If you're thinking of buying something during cyber week, I recommend a stepping workout like SATI or PPW and maybe a seated workout.

          Congratulations!!!!!
As I always say, T-Tapp is God-Given and God Guided. I am honored to have the opportunity to share what's been gifted to me. There is so much more woven within each of the T-Tapp exercise and special sequences within the workouts than just a means to lose inches and look good......

So good luck....just do your personal best and you WILL continue to repair/rebuild from the inside out and your body will continue to look, feel and FUNCTION better too. - Teresa (April 12, 2018)

TappCore 2 is seated--and fun! She does it with the kids that won the Hoedown Showdown. You just can't have a bad day doing the workout with them!

The digital MORE 3 Chair is also good.. TappCore 2 is 12 minutes and MORE 3 Chair is 18. Both will get you sweating and a good workout without crashing you!

What Trisch said is true, there is something about working out with a group of kids and Teresa with her big smile (almost goofy!). I love TappCore 2. The More 1/2 mini chairs are great as well, all under 12 minutes.

Congratulations! I remember you forum handle! Welcome back. I don't have any to add, but short workouts in the More would always be good... The Chair the short stepping or the short broom, all those under 10 mins are good for you.
