  • Has anyone here ever used a chi machine...

...or does anyone know anything about it?

Yes, Teresa takes about it in one of her old lectures in all those CD comes free,,, It is basically a machine that you put your legs on, it will move your legs in the "8" figure side way in a pattern to passively move the lymph, if the person is not pumping the lymph by walking, stepping, rebouding or doing the real T-Tapp movements. It is a passive way to get lymph moving.... My sister used to have one of that (it was sold as a weight loss machine, LOL) 20-30 years ago. We did use it on my mother when she cannot really move around.

If you are going to move the lymph, there are herbs to move the lymph, there are fruits to move the lymph and there are massages, skin brushing, etc. that can also assist. First, by not eating things that will cause inflammation and make the lymph stagnant will be important. Taking in enzymes is another important no exercise related lymph mover.

Hi! Could you tell me the herbs and enzymes that will help move lymph and how to take them?

Teresa's Digestive Plus is a good enzyme.

Fruits and raw vegetables has enzyme (that means you are not getting it from cooked fruits and vegetables... apple sauce and canned fruits do not count either). Pineapple (especially the core), Kiwi, papaya (especially the seed), lemon, fermented vegetables, raw sprouts of beans and seeds (not sprouted bread or sprouted wheat flour, the cooking process during baking will do the enzymes in) are the high enzyme content daily food.

Herbs, you can in general use calendula, parsley, plantain leaves, etc. with consistency.

When we use herbs... it is a long term commitment and you will have to expect results are slow and steady. The eating will needs to be improved and that you have to cut out dairy, baked good, white flour, white sugar, etc. Herbs cannot do it all if the food choice is subpar. It will be one step forward 3 steps back when food tends to gummed up the lymph system is eaten.

Of course, when we talk about the herbs and food, we also need to address the detoxes and cleansing, have you done any colon cleanse or Master Cleanse? As you have not, maybe you want to at least look into lower bowel formula that removes constipation and stagnant bowel issue first.

You cannot cleanse the lymph if the elimination system is backed up. Lemon, pineapple, coconut water, apple cider vinegar are all staples and food that I use almost on a daily basis for the lymph.

I eat meat, but I observe the Wahl's protocol. You can see Wahl's protocol on the Nutrition and Diet area.

Oil of Oregano cleanses the lymph and blood too.

We normally cleanse in the following order:
      1. Colon
      2. Kidney
      3. Parasite
      4. liver
      5. Blood
      6. Lymph

Sometimes, the more comprehesive protocol will address all of them at the same time, sometimes, it will be the first level, then first and second level... When the lymph is being cleansed the colon, kidney, parasite, liver and blood should also be cleansed at the same time.

Thank you for your help. My diet is good - no wheat or bread products, no dairy except occasional butter from grass fed cows, occasional grass fed beef, hormone-free chicken, lots of vegetables, moderate fruit, water, free range eggs and coconut oil. I drink ACV with the mother in my water several times a day, lemon juice, oil of oregano, turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger root. Daily I'm taking an herbal liver cleanse, protease, and probiotics. I'm still swelling in my legs.

I do Posture Power Walk almost daily or jump on a trampoline. Maybe I should go back to Step away the Inches. Time is a factor, though.

I also do manual lymphatic massage twice a day.

I've never done any other cleanse other than the liver cleanse herbal formula that I'm taking now. I do not have any constipation issues. I had a colonoscopy 2 weeks ago. Everything was good.

I've thought about trying butcher's broom, horse chestnut, and bromelain capsules.

        Hi Bit,

If your colon is cleansed and you have been taking liver herbs and still have swelling in your legs as a chronic issue, then your kidney is impacted... Look at the list, you will need to cleanse your kidney first before worrying about lymph. Still do a colon cleanse first and then your herbs should be focusing on cleansing the kidney and removing stone and sediments at the bladder. ACV is one good thing and you are using already, you might want to look into adding alfalfa and parsley (including parsley root). Pineapple is definitely good at removing sediments and protein. Once again, Master Cleanse or Pineapple Cleanse for 2 weeks is good to get those sediments out of your system and dissolve and reduce kidney stones. Definitely stick with stepping workout, whether posture power walk or More Step Away.

Also, test the regular drink water and see the pH level at your drinking water.

These are herbs for kidney in general:
        • Dandelion Leaf
        • Cornsilk
        • Juniper Berry
        • Goldenrod Leaf
        • Couch Grass Root
        • Parsley Leaf
        • Horsetail Herb
        • Stinging Nettle Leaf
Let me also point out hydrangea root that will be great to add to your acv... Get some powered hydrangea root (from Mountain Rose or any reputable online herb shop), you put like an oz of the hydrangea root powder with 30 oz of ACV (I just pour some ACV out and add an oz of root into the 32 oz bottle). Shake the hydrangea root from time to time, the ACV will get the essence of hydrangea's stone dissolving power in 6 weeks. You will use that hydrangea ACV like how you use your regular ACV.

You can find Master Cleanse info anywhere. If you don't feel like only drinking lemonade for 14 days, you can consider eating half to one pineapple a day, and stick as much pineapple as you can, and occasionally use salad and a small amount of protein if you really need to eat non fruit. Make sure you have enough water and your bowel is moving during these cleanse. You will be surprised that these fruit cleanses actually can clean up the colon, kidney, parasite, liver (and to a certain degree the blood and lymph) quite well within 2 weeks.

From the herb selection you stated, you have varicose veins or hemorrhoids?

I've had an ablation that removed my varicose veins. I do have hemorrhoids, but they are not a problem for me.

I have lymphedema due to 12 inguinal lymph nodes being removed. My goal is to make the remaining lymph nodes in that area wake up and take on the job of moving the lymph. After 3 /12 months since removal of those nodes, I'm still hopeful that I can find the right combination of herbs to get them to take on this task. The herbs that I named are ones I've researched that could possibly help with lymph drainage. I wondered if you had any thoughts on that.

I will look into the Master Cleanse.
