I have not measured yet, I will save it for tomorrow, and also the dreaded pictures.

I just bought and did the More 3 Chair at the T-Tapp store... Last week, I made sure I downloaded all my digital workouts in My Library, I am not sure why we have to download (for the worry of the new digital platform transitional issues), but I downloaded all the workouts I bought. I think the only workout I don't have is the pregnancy one.

Well, I am so used to doing More Chair, I started checking the clock around 10 mins mark, as my body is used and was spent at the 10 mins duration. Like I said before, if you push to your max and activate, the 9 mins More Chair can leave your knees week. I enjoyed More 3 Chair and I had done similar on the More DVD before, but Holiday Workout #4 is another level of activation and stretch. If you are deciding to just get 1 digital workout to download, get the Holiday Workout.

Thanks for the feedback ayj67. I'm looking to download a chair wo. The MORE 1/2 minis and TappCore 1/2 are my level but my DVDs are starting to skip. I hope my faves can be downloaded in the future, too..

Wow great info BlessedMama and @ayj67

Thanks to Trisch's help and advice, I am focusing on Chair Cruisers for the Challenge and also going to rotate through the Holiday workouts. I keep forgetting about TappCore 2 being seated so that will be one I will sub in also. If I have trouble with the standing Holiday workouts, I have more than enough seated options to make it through the challenge without getting bored.

GreenGem I love More 3 Chair digital. I felt good, upper body muscles were sore, but I didn't feel that WOW that was AMAZING so I am anxious to try the seated Holiday workout.

I was hoping someone would start a thread for this challenge! I've measured, but I still need to get my husband to take photos. My sister said she would join me in the challenge, although we're long-distance partners, since she's on the other side of the country from me.

Hi, AYJ. I haven't been on the forums in a long while, but I've still been tapping (usually five days a week) and brushing (every day). I figured I might as well do the challenge and came here to see who else might be doing it.

So far, the only workout I cannot download is the 2016 Retreat Fusion Workout and the First Step Workout 1 (which there is an acknowledgement of known download issue already by the store)/ I will go back and make sure I really have downloaded everything!

Maybe the goal for this challenge is to at least do each one of the workout once.

What type of error message are you getting? I'm curious because I was able to download First Step 1 last week without any problem although it took more than an hour. I tested again just now, it took me less than 30 minutes. Maybe try again this morning?

I wish you all a wonderful start of this challenge!!! We can do this - together!!

As most of you know, I do the challenge unofficially because I do my 25th month Twist/5 moves challenge. I wrote about it in our 6 weeks thread last week. I am going to be varying between these moves/activities: PBS, R/S, JT, TTT and HD plus doing short stepping workouts or do T-tapp walks outside and chair moves/workouts.

Today, I started with the 5 moves from More 1 and I added the short stepping workout, I was stepping even when Teresa was talking so it was about 8 min.

Thanks to no bad snacks, I am down -2 inches in my waist. I don't know if it is ok to write about weight too...I know many T-tappers don't weigh in anymore. I can just say that I also got "a good start downwards" so to say.

Here we go!! How are you today? Which moves/workout are you choosing today?

It is OK in my book to talk about weight so update us if you want to. T-Tappers just steer away from weighing because it can be SUPER deceptive because you will gain muscle and fat will shift so there will be gains and losses both along the way.

You are much better doing ALL the measurements so you can see, but I know you hate that

I did my measurements today and I am still losing in certain areas (some I am not happy about LOL) but no gains on this measurement

  • #6
If I tracked right, I lost about 8 inches on my navel circumference and maybe 5 lbs-ish by end of 2018. That is after the ups and downs. This year, I've lost 3 inches total in the navel circ so far (again, after several ups and downs) and .5 inch on my knees. I weighted today and lost 6 lb from 3 months ago, I kept checking because I can't believe what I saw, so a total of 8 lb-ish so far. I forgot to take my photos, I will do them later.

During his challenge, I will focus on getting daily movements and maintaining a grateful attitude. I will continue to manage my sugar, dairy and wheat intake but I will not stress about them during celebrations.
As I always say, T-Tapp is God-Given and God Guided. I am honored to have the opportunity to share what's been gifted to me. There is so much more woven within each of the T-Tapp exercise and special sequences within the workouts than just a means to lose inches and look good......So good luck....just do your personal best and you WILL continue to repair/rebuild from the inside out and your body will continue to look, feel and FUNCTION better too. - Teresa (April 12, 2018)

Anna Lee, mine goes up and down, lol, so I gave up on measuring often. I do think managing those three (milk, sugar, wheat), plus eating a lot of veggies, helps reduce inflammation. What I had realized, that amazes me so much is that I no longer work out as hard as I used to (Chair Cruisers is not as taxing as MORE) and yet changes are still happening.

GreenGem, I know that you have been doing many of the Chair Cruisers moves. I am trying to go through them, but in sequences. I am glad that you see changes thanks to these moves. My stomach is less bloated and I do think that I have less brain fog. Could it be less wheat or/and less sugar? The body really gets used to "good' foods. I feel more and more that it deserves this "good" foods. Like if the emotional bad foods snacking was not doing anything good to it. Lots of repetitions of the word "good", but I think you understand what I mean?...

I LOVE THIS!! I am trying so hard to get the sugar and grains under control. It is better, but not where I would like it. I know it's my hormones trying to deceive me and I don't know how to fix that.

I am joining you - hopefully I can manage to keep at it during the next weeks. I measured and my daughter took my pictures. I am so sad, because I compared my measurements to 6 years ago when I lost a lot of weight and did t-tapp consistenty and seeing those numbers confirm what the clothes, mirror and scale have been telling me is discouraging. BUT, there is no point in whining - I have to look forward, not backward. I have purchase First Step Fascia during the digital sale and am working on the first workout. I have done only 30 minutes, can not do the whole thing yet. But here is to hope (1st Advent )

I did the first 25 minutes of Fascia Fitness this morning. I was thinking of getting it during the sale and then discovered that I already had it but had never done it!! Lots of good activation!! I was feeling warm a couple minutes in and worked up much more of a sweat than I have in a long time. I also brushed, as usual. I might try brushing more than once a day during the challenge, but I haven't decided yet.

I have been brushing too. Even though it sounds gross, I have been brushing after my workout because then I get in the shower so that is what happens to work. I don't want to take my pajamas off in the morning to brush then put them back on...

Wow, I'd forgotten how bad I am at measuring. Even with a myotape and having watched Tiffany's video, I'm getting inconsistent numbers. On a second or third try I can get about an inch difference on the various torso measurements, depending on tiny variations on how I'm standing and breathing. And some locations (waist, upper abs) are tough to identify.

I had the same issue so I started to get technical about it and it is working. When I measure my waist I measure from belly button up about 1-2 inches then measure around at that point. Abdomen, I measure from navel down 2 inches then around at that point. Does that make sense? It is the only way I have been getting closer to consistent measurements. Hips I do at the largest part of my bottom that sticks out and around.

I figure as long as I am remeasuring at the same point every time that should be accurate.

That makes so much sense, Alisa! If you measure at a set distance from a fixed point like the navel, it doesn't matter whether it's really the "correct" point, since you're measuring for changes. I'm not going to put myself through that again till the end of the month, but thenceforth I'll stick to your formula for waist and abs. Hips are easier, obviously: just pick the biggest measurement.

I'm joining, at least unofficially! I took measurements this morning and they are the same as what they were in May. Now, if I could just shake a few more inches.....

I have been doing the first 3 moves of BWO+. I think I will write up a schedule and start rotating thro the whole DVD, alternating EOD with a 7-10 min stepping workout. I do want to see if I can build up my stamina during this challenge. Unless someone has a better idea? I'd sure like to see results this time!

That is exactly what you should do. If you do the same 3 or 4 moves all the time, you aren't utilizing the other parts of your body and may be losing out on benefits.

If 3 moves from BWO+ is your sweat spot continue that but make sure you are starting each workout with PBS. So on day one you do the first 3 moves, day two you do PBS and the next two moves, then day 3 PBS and the next two moves etc.

I think if you try to rotate through the whole workout you will see better results.

Kind of like a super fascia version of Turn Back Time, 1 hr and 8 mins. I stopped at 34 mins (seems to be another default limit of my energy) that is right before the TTT (like 20-30 mins of TTT & Oil Well). I will get this whole workout today.

Since this is the only workout I cannot download (I downloaded the First Step #1 no problem), I want to make sure I learn this one well first.

One set is LF. Most workouts have 2 sets at the end. But you can track them however you want. If your goal is to do 2 sets after each meal, for example, you can track that.

I am sore from the increased activation yesterday. This morning, I did PBS and some more of Fascia Fitness. I almost couldn't get through The Box because my arms were screaming at me.

Today, I did my morning moves and in the late afternoon: Chair Cruisers' #2 PBS and I really liked it. I also chose the Holiday Hoe Downs, they were so fun to do!! I feel sore muscles in my core so hopefully they are getting well activated.

EDIT: I am sorting out stuff at home. I use the Konmari method that I did in 2016. There are many things that I don't need anymore or I even haven't used since then. Anyway, I had thought about buying another pair of jeans, but I found one. I can wear it, but it is really tight around my belly and waist so I will use it to measure and see if it gets looser during the next couple of months.
