  • NSVs, SV, workout report, AND a question! : )

Good morning! I hope this is the right place to post this.

Workout report and question - I did not do so great on my first attempt at "Boot Camp". I did Instructional 1 for 2 days and then got distracted with 4th of July holiday.
I started over last Tuesday and did Basic Plus every day, except on Saturday night my husband was working so tried to do it from memory, without the book or video, outside my daughter's bedroom door while she slept. I probably was 80% accurate LOL
Question - Does that count as "Boot Camp" or should I start over? And if not, what kind of workout and schedule should I do next? I still have a hard time completing all the reps of certain exercises here and there (twists especially). Just looking from some advice.

Scale victory - Down 5 lbs since last Tuesday!

Non-scale victory - Down 10.5 inches since 7/2!! And the baby started fussing while I was measuring, plus I thought some of the numbers were too good to be true so I was not completely accurate and I repeated measurements to get averages - pecs and waist especially. I put denim shorts on right out of the dryer and they fit! I am sleeping better, moving better, in a better mood, AND appear to making more/better milk. My husband said my hips look narrower. I think I am starting to get SOME feeling back in my numb areas from my c-section. Between the keto and TTAPP, I have SO MUCH MORE ENERGY already. I'm getting and staying in ketosis quicker and easier (I cheated once two weeks ago).

YES, that counts as a bootcamp. Don't worry about doing it perfectly--you DID it! Now stick with a schedule that is doable for you and have a plan B for those days where you have low energy, less time, fussy baby, etc. That can be just three moves, such as Primary Back Stretch, T-Tapp Twist or at least the stretch part, and Hoedowns. You can pick any three moves, but starting with Primary Back Stretch is always a good idea!

Congratulations on all your wonderful results and good job keeping track of the things that you can't measure!

Congratulations!!!! And more milk + getting sensations back are a big deal, imho. Our body works so hard during pregnancy and after. =D
As I always say, T-Tapp is God-Given and God Guided. I am honored to have the opportunity to share what's been gifted to me. There is so much more woven within each of the T-Tapp exercise and special sequences within the workouts than just a means to lose inches and look good......So good luck....just do your personal best and you WILL continue to repair/rebuild from the inside out and your body will continue to look, feel and FUNCTION better too. - Teresa (April 12, 2018)

Congratulations! It seems that you are doing the movements right and activating correctly. Don't over worry about "bootcamp", when movements are executed to your best form consistently and frequently, you are in bootcamp mode.

Thanks everyone!! I can’t believe it’s been another week already. Time goes by so fast these days! I am down another 2 lbs and 5 5/8” overall. People are really starting to notice too!! I have a chart on my wall for tracking my workouts and the only thing I am promising myself is not to miss two days in a row. I just love starting my day with BWO+!! I bought the rehab dvd for my mom and I just sent the book and rehab dvd to my chiropractor. I am telling anyone that’s asks/will listen how much I love my new 15 minute workout. It’s amazing! I bought more DVDs for myself but I’m kind of nervous about them. I want to do BWO+ for a solid month before branching out. I mean, I haven’t even made it through instructional 2 yet, so I don’t want to get ahead of myself.

Congratulations again, there is so much to learn from each DVD... I really mean each DVD. You cannot master them all within a month or a year, just take your time and master every single element, when you get bored, you can switch to another DVD.

You are doing fantastic! Congrats on your new baby!

Focus on consistency over time. A sustainable lifestyle of health will get you there. This month marks 4 years of consistency for me. I committed to a minimum of 3 workouts a week (unless sick or something) and as long as I did those 3 workouts, I didn't get upset if I didn't do anything extra. Over time, I found my sweet spot and I know when I can really push myself and when I need to take it easy.

I think you are very wise to stick with BWO for a month. And do the Instructional again every now and then, too. Because your body will quietly slip into the path of least resistance over time.

What other DVDs did you buy? There are some that should be done only after learning others. With others, it doesn't matter.

I got to meet and workout with Teresa in 2014. I am forever grateful to her and will never forget her.
