Last week was a Less is More week. *But* I am so thankful that the Himalayan salt is making my salty cravings disappear. I have enough "good" salty food too. I am aiming for 1 1/2 inch less in my waist and another 3 pounds down. But it can take the time it takes.

This week, I will be continuing my morning moves, but I will start doing 2 of them from a video. The Stance/Clapaways and Lat Pulls from HHMM Instr. Then adding the PBS from More 2. I feel that it helps my metabolism to do them before breakfast. I drink water before, during and after.

I will do something more EOD in the afternoons. This afternoon, I went back to this dvd, HHMM Instr, did some segments of it and it felt lovely as always.

I had a 1 1/2 hour nap this afternoon and I will be able to have one tomorrow afternoon too. I slept like a baby this past night, about 9 1/2 hours!

I feel like I am really ready to move past this virus. I did get 3 workouts in last week but then took 3 days off, unintentionally. Last night I just wasn't feeling well and I knew it was from being too sedentary. So I did the Hoedown Showdown. Really felt good.

This week I am going to try for at least EOD and to meet my step goal every day. I've only met my step goal a few times since I got sick.

I need to get back into daily salads, too.

This morning, I used the HHMM Instr to do the Stance/Clapaways and the real Lat Pulls. Of course, I did the PBS from More 2. I really enjoy these morning moves. Tomorrow, I am planning on doing some moves from More 1 Instr or HHMM Instr again.

I too got the flu too, even it seems to have passed, but then I still felt weak from time to time.

I think I got it 1/1 that I took the kids to miniature golf. It was too cold to stand around and watch them played their two rounds and I stayed at the arcade for almost 2 hours. A lot of virus was recirculated in that 2 hours and felt not so well the next morning already. I was the eating the best the next 2 days and then I finally got it on Friday (1/4) night, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (1/5 - 1/7) were pretty much alternating from getting up drink 2 glasses of water, go to bathroom, drink more water, go back to sleep. The exploding headache and fever were gradually getting better over the 3 days. Starting Tuesday, I was not really sick anymore, but had to deal with the clearing of the mucus. I still at sweating feverish nights and still having some mucus from time to time.

Today, I was still fatigue and I decided to take a nap... I nap from 11 am to 3 pm. I think I am recovering well, but for all of you getting the similar flu as I did, please do rest and nap when you feel like it. It is so not me to take a nap in the middle of the day but I have time for it (I am furloughed) and I have the need for it.

For the Sat to Monday when I was having fever and sick, I probably drank 6 gallon of water the first day, 4 gallon the second day, and maybe 2 gallon the 3rd day.

I just finished TFFS. Being sick got me out of the habit of making sure T-Tapp fit in to my day. I've been enjoying the "excuse" to rest and relax more. But I've also become more sedentary. It was very necessary at first. But, today, while driving, I started to get tingling and numbness in my right hand again. I need to keep up with T-Tapp so that nerve doesn't get pinched again. It was very painful 2 1/2 years ago when it was acute. T-Tapp keeps it healthy.

I got my husband to do the opening 8 minutes of TFFS. He was a little confused but he was able to do most of it and said it felt good. He's going to keep at it. His arms is quite numb and tingly off and on all day and he really needs it.

I'm taking the kids skiing tomorrow. I miss skiing a lot. I'm hoping to get my toddler out there, soon. Getting away from the house will be good for me.

Lisa, I am surprised that I can keep it up... In Dec 2017-Jan 2018, I did four moves PBS, R/S, JT, TTT (from the book!!) on most mornings. But I was always nauseous and Ayj explained to me why. When drinking more water, I felt better, but I stopped to do them, especially before breakfast. Nowadays, I am not nauseous, when I feel that my sugar is a little low, I take a grab of healthy grains and do the moves.

I am sure that you are a lot busier than me in the morning.

We made homemade dark chocolate peanut butter cups. They're good but we made them too big. Eating one made me feel kind of sick. So I did PPW 15 to burn off some of that sugar. Hoping to finish with the holiday showdown in a few minutes.

We didn't go skiing today. One of my kids was very disappointed and it was a very difficult day. However, I had a long text chat with a dear friend whose children also deal with emotional challenges and she suggested a new supplement for me to try with him. I had him off all supplements for quite awhile except for inulin and DHA. So it should be easy to tell if this is helping. It arrives Friday.

I'm still coughing a little but I think this is mostly behind me. It's snowing today and it's so pretty!

I am in a really bad habit of staying up late. It's partly because my toddler (who will turn 3 on Monday) doesn't nap every day but, when she does, she can't fall asleep until after midnight. I try really hard to keep her up but yesterday I found her asleep on the couch. Today I have to get to bed early because we have to be in the car, ready to leave, at 8:15 with all our equipment and food for the day.

Yesterday I did PPW 15 and Holiday Showdown. It felt really good. I think the sweating and cardio was good for me.

        Hoping to do TFFS today.

Going to try and stay offline for the rest of the day so I can be intentional.

I said I wasn't coming online the rest of the day but I just realized something. I've noticed over the past several months that I feel so much better when I consistently have my homemade breakfast shake most days. So much better than other breakfasts. I was listening to a health podcast and they were talking about the benefits of cacao. I put 1/4 cup of cacao into my breakfast shake every morning and that provides 40% of my magnesium and 80% of my copper. I knew it was healthy (and delicious) but I wasn't conscious of how rich in minerals it is.

As I woke up, I did my morning moves. I feel great starting the day like that. This afternoon, I am just relaxing and I am planning on doing a T-tapp workout tomorrow.

I sometimes show 1-2 T-tapp moves (for example the stance, lat pulls, Spiderwoman, or HD) to colleagues, in general 2-4 persons. I tell them some of the benefits that I have been experiencing. The other week, I did it and one of my male colleagues asked me to give him the name and place of some videos. I told him, and today he said to me that he and his daughters had been watching and doing some T-tapp videos. They had really liked it. He added that the lady who created this was very intelligent. I totally agreed of course. I have no idea if they will continue T-tapping on a regular basis, but at least they discovered it????. I just felt like sharing this.

Hello everyone. I have read a few of your comments, it is beautiful to read such support of one another. I love and adore T-tapp. Started tapping when Ms. Tapp did her first routines out in back garden of her home. Does anyone still own those VHS tapes? And would be able to share? Expenses all paid.
I would love to have a spot, such as this one where I can post my fitness activities. Heres the thing tho, I drive transport across Canada in a team. I have tried and am not able to safely get into stance and workout, while the tractor is moving. What I am able to do tho is move a 15 lb kettlebell around and lift one 8 lb hand weight. When we get out of the truck for a meal every other day or so, it is then that I can fit in some ttapp moves. I will be attending the late summer retreat in Florida. God Willing. I look forward to meeting you all there. Is there space for me and my oddities in this space?

Oh wow, I would love to see those old VHS workouts! I remember reading that she originally had a rather long, cumbersome name for her workouts.

          Welcome!

Soliloguy, could you share the breakfast shake recipe please? Most morning I make us smoothies while we move down the road at 90 km's an hour. lol...If you think about it, preparing smoothies while being in an unbalanced state is great for your core.

Sure, this is what I do:

          2 cups milk*
          1/4 raw cacao powder
          1 tbsp.diatomaceous earth
          2 scoops collagen peptides
          1 tsp inulin
          1/2 tsp gelatinized maca
1 frozen banana, broken in to chunks

          * for the milk I usually use 1 cup raw milk and 1 cup water. If I have breakfast late and want it to last me to dinner, I use 2 cups raw milk. I have also made this with 2 cups unsweetened almond milk. Almond milk is very low in calories so, if I'm using almond milk, I usually need to add a raw egg or two.

I've tried adding greens but then I just don't look forward to drinking it. So, I make a green smoothie later in the day with apple and lemon.
      Working...
