  • Question about HHMM

I just turned 50 and my reproductive organs are feeling it.

I am a sporadic T-Tapper but I want to be consistent. How does HHMM differ from BWO or SATI MAX? I have those workouts, but am wondering if HHMM will put my hormones on a better path than just doing the workouts I have?

    thanks,
    Heidi

HHMM (aka MMHH) is quite different but not so different that you'll feel lost. The PBS portion is much shorter and easier to understand. The moves have some important tweaks that target the lats even more. It's a really good workout and I highly recommend it.

    T-Tapping since 2010, consistent since 2015!

I got to meet and workout with Teresa in 2014. I am forever grateful to her and will never forget her.

Thanks for your input, Lisa! What is it about HHMM that makes it more effective for balancing hormones than any other TTapp workout?

I think I'll let BlessedMama and ayj67 answer that. I know it has to do with enhanced lat activation and enhanced lymphatic movement.

In my opinion, each new workout that Teresa released became more effective for overall hormonal healing and lymphatic health. Going through them, mostly in the order she released them, will allow you to learn the new tweaks and move through them in an educational way, if that makes sense. If someone tried to go from Basic Plus to First Steps Fascia Fitness, for example, they would be missing out on SO MUCH because all those extra steps would be missing and all the latest tweaks wouldn't be building on the previous ones. That's just my opinion. You have plenty to keep you busy for many years!

For as far as I see it, for most people, HHMM is a much slower version of BWO+ with extra stretching, kick out and shake out built in that all the inflammation from the wear and tear during the workouts are effectively eliminated before the workout is over. It will actually relieve some of the fatigue and inflammation we have, not related to the workouts. During menopause or peri-menopause, pms or whatever stress out, our adrenals and livers are seriously impacted for the processing of inflammation, fatigue, hormone, etc. If we let the workout remove some of the inflammation, then our body will copy with our hormone better.

The extra emphasis on lat activation is one of the keys along with the activated kick-outs and clap always which reduce inflammation. The lats are glucose-loving muscles and when you activate the lats properly, you boost your metabolism by 15%! Hormonal balance has to do with blood sugar balance as well as optimal lymphatic drainage. It will also help you feel amazing!
