Good morning everyone!! Got home yesterday afternoon after sitting for an hour in the plane in Atlanta because---get this---a "toilet" that needed fixing!!!! Brought our boy home with us and you know what he said to us as we were driving home from the airport? "Thank you guys for letting me come home". !!!! Letting him come home?? Why wouldn't we???? We shall see how things shake down over the next couple of weeks.

No T-Tapp moves while I was away. No room in the house. LOTS of baby holding and walking and fun things going on. Ready to get back into it now though!!

Jennifer, I started mastering the teen talk... he ran away from home (even with sister and prearranged)...

You need to capitalize on this guilty feeling and steer him to the direction you want him... He is obviously was at loss at a direction or a passion or viable small steps to get to a big step, and how many bigs steps and hurdles to go to a goal and the place where he wants to be.

PPW 15 for me this morning and I got it done already. I got up way too late to measure, so hopefully tomorrow. I can't believe it. I had a 2 hr nap yesterday afternoon and I still had a good night. I woke up a couple times, but that tells me I must have needed the sleep. It must be a fall time thing because I rarely nap and I get to bed on good time, generally.

Harvest is finally winding down, amidst much combine header trouble. If all goes well, and nothing more than normal breaks down, we hope to finish by Friday. I am going to work on some neglected-thro-the-summer housecleaning this week and maybe sit down at my sewing machine. Tomorrow is town day and I am waiting for my aunt to decide when she wants to paint her house. It was -6 C last night so winter is on its way. October is supposed to be nice yet, so I'm counting on that.

I actually did some exercise today. I did 16 minutes of the More 3B. It's longer than that, but that was all I had enough ambition for. DH and I walked this evening too. We made a mile. This isn't very fast, but we made it.

Good morning sixers. Heading out in a few minutes for probably the last bike ride of the season. Not into biking in chilly weather....no, uh huh no way.

Lois! T-Tapped?! Great. That and a walk too. Yay for you!

Northmom, you took a nap? For goodness sake, it was a good thing to do since you have been so doggone busy every second all season long.
Jennifer - I am dumbfounded at your son's comment. God bless the guy for realizing that he really needs more nurturing. I think I'd dissolve in tears of joy at it.

I was telling dh last night that listening to what ds DOES say and what he is not saying is very telling. I hope I don't smother him! Seriously--I want to KNOW what is really going on inside his head, just like you said, Ayj. I also want to hear that he WANTS to be home and has realized all kinds of things. I know I need to give him some space to process on his own as well as be as being a support and an encouragement. Ambition, drive? Yeah--not in this boy. Our 19 yo would have been home and out the door first thing in the morning chasing down leads for jobs, etc...and he would have done that at the age of 15 or 16. This boy (17 years old) who just came home after "running away" (Yep--total agreement there, Ayj) is all about spending time with his friends and chasing down how to get a small TV for his room so he can play his PlayStation.

Did a little yoga yesterday morning and have made a plan for the week/month for movement and good eating choices. DH is encouraging me to be focused on moving more/eating less. He is finding such freedom in movement, decreased pain levels, etc as he has lost quite a bit over the last 9 months--he wants the same for me.

We did get our walk in again this evening. But the only T-tapp I got in was one hoe down. Better than nothing.

You are doing great, Lois, especially considering how long you had to deal with pneumonia!

Well ds told me yesterday that it took him going away to realize where he really wanted to be...which is Home. Not to say that he won't be talking about "moving out" when he is 18 in 6 months. But--a job, a license, finish school---let's get those in line, son! LOL

Did the 3 favorite floor moves from T-TAPP yesterday--OIP/HF (and what is that move that Teresa does on the Floor Brain Body Fitness workouts? Where you finish with half frogs and then wiggling out the one leg and let the knee drop?) Well that move too, then AL and DD. To be real I will confess that I am only doing like 5 reps on DD. Haha

Youngest had her piano lesson today so I am hoping to get in a walk. I hear temps are going to go back up to 80s but I Hope not today. DS needs X-rays on his elbow and knee from his football injuries today and then youngest dd has to be to work. Yep--my days have gotten busier!

PPW 15 today. I have been concentrating on no weight on ball joint while working, shopping, etc. I do quite well with when being reminded as I do my work out and than real life hits. I noticed though, it's easy to walk with my feet straight if I concentrate on no ball joint, versus concentrating on no duck feet! That's a real helpful discovery.

There's a chance of snow next week. I hope not because I am still waiting (im)patiently for the dirt to get smoothed enough to plant this fall. I am tired of mowing weeds. Yes, the sheep have done a good job of keeping it down, but I want to move my flowers next spring. They are still out where our old house was and they get neglected out there. Harvest finally has an end in sight. Crops are average this year, excellent actually, considering the nasty conditions they were seeded into. DH has been hard put to find bin space for the oats, but I think he got it figured out. LOL, he was expecting crops not to do well!

I bought turkey and the trimmings for Thanksgiving this weekend. No plans though. I had to ask at the store if they had bigger turkeys because there was no point in buying a turkey that was smaller than our chickens. I told DH and children it was their choice on whether we have turkey or a big chicken. They all voted for turkey.

I hope you don't get snow next week, Northmom! Glad to hear that the harvest has been doing well.

Yesterday I opted for going for a walk while our dd was at her piano lesson. I used the Outside Walk option on my Apple Watch and walked for 20 minutes. The stupid thing registered 6-7 minutes of activity!! Now I DID walk and walk well. I climbed 3 hills getting back to my friend's house and was huffing and puffing!!! Next time I'll use the Mixed Cardio option and it'll record the whole time!

                Some T-Tapp today, I think.

northmom, LOL on the turkey vs chicken! Totally get that one! And yes--weight in heels will help, too! You have to purposefully duck out!

Jennifer, your Apple Watch is obviously not able to keep up with you!

I have been MIA--partly due to my SUPERSSSSLLLLOOOOWWWWW computer! It's 5 years old but it's also my "work". I mean I use this thing every.single.day. I do leave it off most Sundays. The battery sometimes dies just taking the computer from my sunroom to my room, about a 20 foot walk! A few weeks ago it did something weird with a blue screen about clock timing. My techie brother said sounds like the timing chip is going and agreed--time for a new computer! Then this week, RIGHT when I needed it to work well inputting Defeating Diastasis program ladies' info, it would slow down, lock up, then catch up, sometimes not catch up...sigh. I am sure my neck tension is half sitting here too much over two days and half STRESS over it. I have a new computer sitting here in its box--hoping oldest daughter who is more tech savvy than me can help me get things transferred this weekend!

But I've been working out! Client sessions plus doing different segments of Fascia Fitness. I LOVE that workout! This morning I did Teresa's Favorite Fascia Stretching Sequence after a client session and it really helped my tight neck!

All but one of my kids and I are doing a bike ride tomorrow. It's called the Nickel Plate Trail for the railroad that used to be there. It's a nice bike trail now! It's 44 miles long but we're only going to do about 18 miles and then come back. There's supposedly an ice cream shop in this little town where we'll turn around. It will be a nice treat before heading back! So thankful my little guys (or not so little!) were able to fix up enough of our bikes!!! Mine only has front brakes and won't change gears at all--good things it's not stuck in a high gear! It's a lower gear but not the lowest--that wouldn't be good, either! And since the trail is a former railroad, there shouldn't be any huge hills to deal with, either! I told hubby if we're going to do this more often, I'm investing in a new bike!

Tomorrow is also youngest son's birthday--he'll be 11! And my older son will be 13 about 5 weeks later! HOW did this happen?!

Hee hee! 32 miles round trip, with the first half against the wind--it was "fun" but sometimes not so much! LOL! Grateful I didn't faceplant when I fell, too! Really we did have a good time and I'm amazed that I did it! Woo-HOO!

                  Some T-Tapp this morning!

I did skin brushing yesterday and I don't know if my skin was dry or if it had just been such a long time but my arms and shoulders were itching after I was done. I used the ionized sprayer to get a little moisture back onto my skin.
