    is it critical that I scale down frequency over time as recommended? I'm at every third day now but I feel so much better when I'm doing it every day or every other day.

    No, you can continue to do it every other day or every day, if you are doing a shorter workout such as Basic. If you are doing Total, that should be every other day.

    Just continue to listen to your body!
