M.S. is Patience and Kindness.

Sandra, in each category are you writing down all your issues with, for example, Trust, then all the emotions that come up and then rating each issues level of discomfort on a scale of 1-10 and then working through each issue and rechecking your level of discomfort with that issue and rechecking the level of discomfort with the emotions?

No. I am just asking if there is an emotion that needs to be cleared and if yes, I ask odd or even row then column and go from there.... Am I missing something? I thought that was the directions but I must admit I did not read every single page.

You know what. I am referring to the emotions codes not healing codes. I didn't make that clear and just saw codes. I also have the healing codes but have doing the emotion codes more.... Maybe I should combine and start doing both. sorry for the confusion I just realized my mistake.

The above is the Healing Codes directions and it's much more thorough in my opinion that the Emotion Code

Just wanted to share a little brilliant inspiration I had while travelling. I have a hard time REALLY focusing on the truth focus statements, because even if I speak them out loud, my brain is always running a separate track in my head the whole time. It's worse when I'm using statements I've used a lot and am really familiar with.

I read a line where Alex said you could "just focus on the positive" and something jogged my brain to realize that what REALLY focuses my mind and REALLY brings up the grateful and positive feelings is MUSIC. So, I've been wracking my brain for songs that correlate with the positive feelings I'm working on for my Code. I used my travel alarm, which has a second hand, and just moved to the next position every 30 seconds while singing. Just as example, Peace Like A River works really well and you can just go around and around as many times as you want. This is working really well for me and I'm so excited!

Moyne, that's cool!

I think that for focusing on our gratitude Forever Young by Rod Stewart would work for me as it's the song in my heart for my children.

Maybe my kid's birth songs would be good, too? It's Impossible may be not positive enough for this, though it is lovely and is my first son's birth song. My second son's birth song is "You're Just too good to be True" by Frankie Vallie and is perfect.

Cool idea!

I'm glad to be home to dig through all my music and go through different hymns to get ideas. The hymn How Gentle God's Commands is good for Self-Control and has four verses that each take 30 seconds to sing, so the full thing is one round, which is really convenient! LOL

Some that I really like don't work well for this application because they have verses which are focused more on the negative with a chorus that is the positive message. But then, sometimes, I find I can just use the chorus.

Wow, Moyne. That is an interesting idea. I find that my brain is starting to do the double tracking thing of saying or reading the Truth Focus Statements and thinking about something else. Quite frankly, I find the same thing happens while exercising to a lot of the T-Tapp videos because I have heard them so many times. I don't dare listen to anything else at the same time because Teresa's reminders to lift the shoulders, tighten the butt, and so forth are still necessary to keep me in good form.

Hope you had a wonderful time on your trip. Did your friends bring any healing methods you want to share?

Hugs,
Vi
