Happy Thursday Ladies,


Had a positive doctor appointment today and he is pleased with my progress (dilation and effacement.) Hopefully won't go over my due date yet!


BWO+ is turning into my stress relief workout; I just love it that I look forward to it 3 times a week and don't dread having to workout anymore. Maybe that I can get done in just 15 minutes helps, too!


I wonder if Teresa knew all the moves would be so great at helping to open up the pelvic area before delivery? Thanks, Teresa!!!!!

Julie, wow! You are well on your way...probably won't be long now...I'll be praying for you. I'm also glad you joined this thread.
Yes, T-Tapp is great during pregnancy, for most. I've been doing it everyday and it really does help in so many different ways. Last pregnancy and this one, I've had NO lower back pain, thanks to T-Tapp. I've had it in all my other previous pregnancies.
I can't even begin to think about school right now...it will just have to wait. That's why we school year-round anyway...to make up for having babies, etc.

Jennifer, I'm so glad your meeting w/you pastor and his wife went well...It also sounds like you are more peaceful about staying there, etc. That's good!

Misty, will be praying for you about your hormones...I can certainly relate. Hormones are so tricky to get under control sometimes...praying it goes smoothly for you.

Having lots of contractions today and feeling very uncomfortable, but Abby probably won't get here for awhile yet...just praying for God's timing.

Lori...((((HUGS)))))))))) wont be long now!!You have such a great attitude and I am glad your place is getting in order!!! I need a pregnant nesting mother to come to my house too! : )

Have you tried ladybugs??? I only have the POP not the workout, but Theresa mentions it helps balance hormones and helps.

I can just imagine that you are getting more excited, Julie!!

And Lori--how are those contractions? Did they ease off a little? I remember walking the floors for 2 weeks before our youngest was born. I'd have contractions most nights for 2-4 hours and then they would stop. At one point I told the midwife that I was sure that I felt little fingers hitting my pubic bone. She said that she hoped not!

When our youngest was born, we realized that her hand was indeed trapped by the side of her head. The cord was wrapped all the way around her chest and was holding it there. I think it was God's provision. If her arm wasn't there, the cord could have slipped up and choked her during delivery! But I could not get her out. The midwife was tugging away and then dh saw baby's precious little fingers and he just reached down and pulled her hand/arm up and out and then she just came out. (She was 10lb 2 oz, too!)

Yesterday, I heard clearly from the Lord about our church situation. I was praising and then praying and I heard Him say "Feed my Lambs, Feed my sheep." A little later I was praising and worshipping and then praying about some other things and I could hear my voice saying "I'm not fed there. I haven't been fed there in years." Then I heard the voice of the Lord say "FEAST on ME.... And then go and feed my sheep."

There was a peace and hushed presence in the van. I just rested and was still....waiting.

But I haven't shared that with dh yet! There didn't seem to be time to last night (but then, I didn't make time, either!)

I have a wonderful praise! Because our insurance has changed, my naturopath has ordered the saliva testing so I can finally find out how my adrenals really ARE doing!

Joni, you gave me a laugh with wanting a "pregnant, nesting mother" to come clean your house!

Jennifer, God is so good! What a blessing He spoke to you, to let you know very clearly what He wants you doing. God is always faithful to give us just what we need, when we need it. PTL he kept your little one safe in the womb...that's scary. Our first daughter was born with the cord wrapped around her neck, but God took care of her and she was fine.

I had a difficult evening last night because my dh wasn't home and my oldest boys were out working until late. When my dh got home, the tears poured. Plus, I was tempted to worry about our finances, etc., even though God keeps reminding us over and over that He's going to take care of us...why do I always do that (doubt His provision?) Anyway, my dh gave one of my dd's and I his blessing to get the rest of the necessities I need for the birth...plus, I splurged on a baby book. The Lord really blessed our time together and I needed that after the night I had last night.

Plus, a friend of mine (Joanna Shepherd) wrote an article in the newest Above Rubies magazine that we just received today. My 10yodd brought it to me and said "The Shepherd family is in Above Rubies!" In the article, she mentioned being joyful...I needed to hear that because although I want our children to know the realities of pregnancy, I also want them to see it as a good thing! Anyway, I needed that reminder to be joyful...her article is on page 13, for those of you who receive it.

My dh took most of our dc to a musical tonight so I could have some peace and quiet...I just love that man! Needless to say, I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

All is well...how true.

I too needed the reminder about joy. My dh losing his job, no money, and all the others. It is such a good reminder that .... I CANNOT DO IT, well alone that is, I can do it with Jesus at my side.
and I know that he will provide.

I am happy that you got the birth supplies you needed and the baby book is such a sweet thing to have too!

I will continue to pray and it is so exciting to see just how the Lord is going to work things out!!!
