I saw Izzy02's post on "What's New" and really enjoyed that link on the Home Page. My question is: what can anyone fill me in on regarding Gentle Transition. It says there was a talk on it at the Retreat. I actually have a couple sample bottles but don't know a whole lot about the product. It would be interesting to know what was learned in that talk. Thanks!

I'm hoping to see an answer to your question. I too have a sample bottle of Gentle Transition, but am not sure whether I need it or not. I suspect I'm in perimenopause, but since my mom passed on several years ago I don't really have anyone to ask. She didn't talk a lot about her experience. (My closest friend is in the same situation, so we're both looking for answers about this time of life.) Is this for peri, post or what??
![]() Also I'd love to know some about the talk at the retreat too, or just some recommendations about things to read that might help me (and my friend) to know what to expect and what to do to help keep in best health. Thanks! |

![]() Maybe Lisa will see this and answer your questions (abbyandcat) I know my notes are around here....GT is GREAT stuff! The condensed version is that Teresa was in danger of losing her alfalfa source, so they were trying to come up with an alternative. GT was the answer! It is blue-green algae, and processed according to strict standards (believe me--Teresa does a lot of research and won't put her approval on something unless it meets her standard of quality!). I need to find my notes to get this 100% right, but something in the way it's processed helps us assimilate it better (I guess that is sometimes a problem with blue-green algae?) Also, people who can't take alfalfa can usually take this and get similar results. I'm butchering this so I'll stop for now! Gotta go do the next thing around here (get blueberries in the freezer, run some milk to a df, and all that fun stuff!) but I will try my best to find my notebook this weekend and get those notes up ASAP!
