Default Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hello,

I am getting ready to try T-Tapp for the first time.I was wondering if there are any people who have done this workout and have Rheumatoid Arthritis? I am hoping this helps with the pain. Plus, because of the RA, I have a really bad knee and it seems like I have FINALLY found an exercise that I can do.

Welcome to T-Tapp!!!

I don't have RA but Psoriatic Arthritis which is very closely related to RA and often confused with it. Once I was Tapping a bit, maybe a couple of months, I realized I had no more pain and eventually dropped the arthritis meds, maybe 6 months into consistant Tapping I dropped one drug then another 6 months to a year dropped the other. This was NOT something my rhumatologist was not comfortable with otherwise I would have kicked that habit even sooner. As long as I Tapp every 2-3 days I continue to have no pain. Just recently I went 2 weeks without Tapping and started to get some weakness in one arm and a painful elbow and wrist, the places my arthritis showed up first. I then proceeded to Tapp every other day for about 10days then took another 2 weeks off, unintended, nonetheless, it was towards the end of two weeks before the symptoms returned. I have always said I *need* to Tapp pretty much every other day, not realizing I could push it much further now as opposed to earlier on!

Once your nuerokinetic pathways get opened and the lymph gets moving freely, both of which T-Tapp does, I have no doubt, your arthritis symptoms will improve, some if not completely. Until then, be sure and only go as far as your body allows and not over do it. Setbacks stink

Welcome! Sorry that you are dealing with RA. My mom has it pretty bad and takes meds for it now. She finally has some relief. Here are some previous threads about it:

Question Lori French - Question for You!

Lori - this thread came up as a result of a spammer but I'm very interested to know something. What did your doctor say when you told him/her about T-Tapp?

You *really* want to know???

He suggested that Mayo Clinic was wrong and I never had arthritis in the first place....

I mean, I was in bed with joint pain. Had two surgeries that turned out to be arthritis

not what they expected and went in for.......

And when I asked him about going off the medications he said I should NOT, no, no, no....

Because if I ever needed them in the future, they *might* not work for me again.

Does that make even a lick of sense? If, God forbid, I ever need another rheumatologist,

I will travel wherever is necessary to find a new one......
