Thanks Jennifer. I won't say we haven't lost sleep over this already, but we're both firm in our belief that God will reveal what He has planned in His time. We have a lot of decisions facing us, so our prayer at the moment is that we do our due diligence in understanding all options and then make sure what ever decisions are made are the ones God is leading us to.

I sincerely appreciate everyone's prayers. It helps knowing they are going up This forum provides so much encouragement. Thanks!

Oh, Phyllis, Lani has been keeping me so busy I haven't been coming here much and am just now seeing this. I will add my prayers to everyone else's. I love the display of your faith.

Thanks Jean! No rush on the book...I have plenty to keep me busy and I'm sure when it arrives it will be perfect timing and just what I need to receive at that moment!

Phyllis, I really needed to see your post. I have been going through some really tough stuff too and I have been so stressed and down. I need to stand next to you and raise my praise to the Lord, too! Like Charlotte said...He is not surprised by anything that is happening to us. He's on His throne and everything is going to be all right.

I will pray for you and your DH. Please pray for me and my DH, too.

Piglet2u...I'm so on it with prayer for you! I can't express enough how much the encouragement from this forum helps. I come here daily for a dose!

Right now I am worried about my DH. I know he needs to go through what I'll call the grieving stages, but it's very hard to watch. He's not sleeping well and I know he's feeling like he's letting me down. The hopes, dreams and plans we had are in jeopardy and he is struggling with the realization that it is going to ultimately be okay and that the new plans God has for us will be even better. I wish I could take the worry I see in his face away, but I can only pray for him as he works through it all.

Oh Phyllis, I feel for you DH. They feel it so intently---being the Providers. (Even if the wives are working too, men feel that responsibility so much)

You are right. He IS grieving!! We lost my father-in-law the 1st day of dh's April vacation 3 years ago and then he found out that he was losing his job the 1st day of his June vacation that year. There was a lot of grief to work through.

Phyllis, everytime I see you on the forums I will lift your DH up in prayer. It is sad to lose a job you thought you would retire from. Actually, sad is quite the understatement. I went through this about 13 years ago and while I don't live now as I did then, the Lord keeps providing. I have learned a lot during all this. One is that the Lord is Faithful. He will always provide and He will teach you great and mighty things that you know not. It's been quite a journey and it won't be over until we are in His presence and even then, it will not be over, it will be ALL better!

Thank you so much for your prayers for us. We dearly need them.
