    Default MORE Level 2 DVD

    I was all set to order the Mindful Movements DVD after reading all the descriptions here in the forum, especially the things that ayj67 said about them. Then, today, I received a mailing from T-Tapp about MORE Level 2 as well as Mindful Movements.

    Do I want MORE Level 2? I know I want Senior Fit so I'm not sure if it makes sense to purchase MORE 2. I'd like to know "more" about "MORE2" - how is it different from MORE 1? Why would I want to purchase it in addition to Mindful Movements and with Senior Fit right around the corner? What else do you know that would help me with this decision.

    I want to make the best use of my resources.

    Mary Ellen, since MORE 2 is just now being sent out there may not be anyone to answer you. Hardly anyone has it yet. Give it a few days for people to get it in their hands and I'm sure those who have it will gladly share that information. All any of us have so far is the same description you have in the letter.

    I just asked Jennifer at the office the same questions. Not that I will not get More 2, I just want to know if I should bring my More and "accidentally" forget to take home when I am visiting my MIL this weekend.

    More 2 got the More-2 Instructional (45 mins), More-2 (25 mins), More Chair, More Broom, More Step Away. They might be similar, but then, all T-Tapp workouts are similar to watch, but when you do it, they are all different with the tweaks, speed and set up. The Senior Fit routine was similar to what we had at the Retreat in Jan (that is a great routine).

    I will get that for just being a Mind to Body and Senior Fit fan.

    Ok, a note worthy story about Senior Fit and Berei from the Teresa at the retreat (I hope I remember right): Berei was doing Senior Fit with Teresa for months on and off by the end of Dec 2011. She was placed on some osteroporosis medication and cholesterol medication because her numbers were not optimal (not bad, just not as good as the gold standard). Her medication caused blockage with blood clots. She was lucky to find out her blockage, as she wanted to get some varicose or spider veins removed before shooting the Senior Fit with Teresa. They found her clots and told her to go to the hospital, as she was losing oxygen. When she was at the hospital then and there and she had a heart attack. Yup, she got it all good and repaired and the heart surgeon was stunted that Berei's heart looked as good as a 30 year old's.

    Berei was at the retreat doing workout, doing administrative things and stuffing envelopes in mid-Jan (2-3 weeks after a heart attack). She was filming the Senior Fit with Teresa after the Retreat.

    Ok, let's do this math, 84-30 = 54. By doing T-Tapp on and off when Teresa is in-town, Berei reversed aging of her heart for 50+ years, I want to do whatever workout she does if my adrenal lets me.

    I re-read your question and realized I did not make things better.

    Speculation: From the Letter, this Senior Fit Sequence (1-hour brain-body workout) will help boost hearth health and lymphatic function to a whole new level.

    I know Senior Fit was under special scrutiny by the insurance. The insurance was assuming all kind of horrible medical conditions and how senior can fall and sustain injuries (and T-Tapp gets sued) during the exercise. I guess the more cardio Senior Fit is moved to More 2. That is my guess. The pre-requisite for senior fit, NK connection starter for adrenal fatigue, is move to the Menopause Management and the PBS Behind the Scene DVD.

    Ok, Mary Ellen, now it is time for you to consider your own medical conditions. What do you have, what are you at risk of?

    So Aurora, I think you hit the nail on the head! I called the office to ask about the two of these and the upcoming Sr. Fit. I tried to take notes so I could share here, but quickly realized two things: The most important thing is that this is really an individual thing. How much do you have to lose? What health issues do you have? What is your level of experience? Which workouts do you already know and love? Your individual answer to those questions will impact the decision. Ladybug is my favorite of all workouts and when Lauren heard that she said I'm going to love Mindful Movements. "It's like Ladybug with a twist" and it's more cardio, which I seem to really do well with. The second thing I realized is that I think we'll all end up loving all three of these workouts and we will learn things from each one of them that will ramp up all our other workouts when we do them.

    Thank you for the input as it drove me to the right place to get the answer that I needed to make the decision. Now I just have to wait for my order to arrive!

    Got my copy of More 2 today and tried the workout with Berei and Teresa-reminds me a lot of early versions of senior fit from previous retreats. Loved the workout and was dripping sweat halfway thru..Bravo, Teresa! Bobbi

    I don't have it yet, but I have been at Retreats where Teresa taught the early Senior Fit, and from what Bobbi said, new tweaks that takes things up a notch. The more you "tighten" form (no path of least resistance) the "more" you get out of it!
