    Default Armour Thyroid and alfalfa

I just started taking Armour Thyroid today. It's my first time on any thyroid medication and I don't take any other medications. Will the alfalfa be okay to take now that I'm on Armour?

Jane, I was on Armour when I started the alfalfa 5 years ago and had no problems. I'm now on a locally compounded natural thyroid and still doing okay with the alfalfa!

    HTH!

I've been taking alfalfa and Levothyroxine for over three years. No interference, and the alfalfa helps so much with the inflammation and fluid retention so common in thyroid patients. I swear by alfalfa!

I take Synthroid (for 24 years) and I'm post-menopausal. I've tried taking Alfalfa but it gives me headaches. I really would love to take it and see all the benefits everyone talks about but I don't like the constant headaches. Maybe I'll try again with less Alfalfa.
