Lightbulb How would life be if my house looked like this?

The second picture is a little laughable...four small trash cans...try five 30 gallon Toter rolling trash cans for all my gangs gear!

Perhaps the chandelier in the laundry room is a bit much, but...enjoy!

Oh my goodness. I LOVE that. I would love every spot in my house to look like that. I LOVE having a place for everything and everything in its place as I don't like clutter and I especially *don't like* hunting/searching for items that I feel "shouldn't" be missing. My house doesn't look like that... BUT it might once my girls are married next month, which means that all remaining items that aren't mine or my husband's will be moved out. So maybe...... just thinking...

Wowza! I wonder what the kiddos would think if our house would look like that?! I just can't imagine one single room without legos/blocks all over the floor. Or Barbie cloths everywhere! LOL! I don't think we could ever get that organized with 9 kids in the house (including me). LOL! Ahhh, but we can dream.....

I've been looking at this blog all weekend.

I clean for 45 minutes and look at this blog for 15 minutes. Then I'm ready to declutter some more. It helped me get lots done. Thanks for sharing.

I LOVE organizational stuff and maybe NOW is the time with dh and oldest ds leaving for 9 days...maybe I can get the rest of us into decluttering mode!!! Okay---jumping in.......

    LOL!

It looks neat...but I don't have that kind of entry (and X11, like Abbie, seems a bit daunting! )

And I don't have cupboard doors....

We have more towels than that bathroom in any one of our given bathrooms! LOL!

We do have our games in a pie safe (living room end tables have sheet music for various instruments!), and I have a few pockets of organization....there are some inspiring ideas there but to have my whole house that way would take waaaayyyy more policing than I'm willing to do right now!

Is that actually someone's house? That looks like something out of Better Homes and Gardens. It's beautiful, but even with just 2 people living in my house, I don't have the time to make everything so pretty and organized. I suppose it would be easy to keep it that way once it was all done, but getting there would take me forever! Not to mention I'd have to buy all new furniture with cubbies and all the little baskets and stuff to hold everything. And I would have to get rid of a LOT of stuff too! I'm a pack rat!

You and me both, Carrie! I like the more "lived-in" look!

Okay---I'm not even going to go there and start coveting and becoming really discontented!!! !!! With 12 bodies, 2 babies, 2 separate families, one independant 20 yo, 5 adults, 5 young people........we are doing good if the "piles" aren't toppling over each other and the linen closet door can be closed (which it isn't, right at this very moment!).
