Default Let's Do Hoe Downs (August)

Time to start a new thread. How did you do in July? I know we had some who met their goal and some who even exceeded it. Congratulations! I think I'm ready to increase my pledge this month, as I've finally gotten some consistency going in my workouts. I know we have some new members waiting to join up this month... welcome!

Anyone is welcome to join us. Please be sure to read the instructions about adding your HDs. Almost every month someone copies the wrong post and throws everyone's numbers off. You will be copying the very last post of the thread, not your own last post. You might also want to keep a separate account for yourself (I make notes on a calendar) so that you can easily see if your number is off. So, let's get ready for a new goal for June...

Copy the list and add your name and how many HDs you will try to do in the month of May. (try to insert your name in alphabetical order, but if not we can move it). Then when you complete some HDs, come back to the thread, copy the last post, paste it into a new window and change your numbers. You can post daily, weekly, multiple times a day, whatever works for you.

ONE Hoe Down is: right side (4,4,4,4,2,2,2,2,1,1,1,1,) then the left side (4,4,4,4,2,2,2,2,1,1,1,1).

Peggy (Callicrowe): Pledge: 60; Did: 0; To do: 60

Started T-Tapp in July 2010 after searching for a good strengthening/stretching/flexibility workout. I think I found it!

Is there ever a thread for TTN? I was considering a TTN Challenge rather than HD's. Or how about Advanced Hoe Downs? (I am doing a lot of LadyBug, so I am working on the middle a lot!!!). Just wondering....I want motivation to do more TTN too!

Donna, if there isn't a challenge thread that meets your needs, you can start one. That's how this HD thread got started. Just post a thread telling what you want to do and see if anyone else wants to join in. I see that Abbie has started one for TTT double dips for the next 7 days. You can decide how long you want to make the challenge... it doesn't have to be a whole month.

    Hi

I'm pretty new here so I just wanted to confirm, what Teresa does in the DVD is considered 2 sets right? I just wanted to make sure before I make the commitment! I'm excited

    bodyofjoy,
Yes, a right, then left, would be considered one set. So right, left, right, left, would be 2 sets. Peggy has it written out, in more detail, in the first post of this thread.

I'm sorry - I have no idea where my mind went after having my 2nd kid . I'd also like to join the TTN challenge once it's started!
