    Sharon,

I would get the layout of events and meeting first. If you have Wednesday of meeting and Friday day of potluck/pig out on Friday, it will be impossible to GM on those 2 days.

Yes, always over pack. If nobody steals food at work, you can pack 3 days worth of food and bring it to work on Monday. If you ate all the food by Tuesday, you know what to do on Wednesday, bring more food!

Sharon, that's exactly what I read in my brochure and what I am doing. What makes you think you are wrong? I'm sure you can do it the other way too, but my basic understanding was the same. Please correct me if you see something else written elsewhere.

I'm also doing two days GM, one day MM. It's up to you how you want to do it, you're just advised not to go more than four days in a row GM so that you don't set yourself up with cravings.

Hello, I am new to ttap and want to explore gm way of eating. Is there a sample list of meals or menues or recipes available on this thread? I started ttaping in July currently doing basic instructional and or total workout instructional. I do feel a little sore in the mornings when i wake up. I also have thyroid issues. Any help you can give is appreciated. I have been thinking of posting for some time but being a procrastinator took me some time Thanks.

Welcome, alakaa. There is a lot of good information in this thread, and worth reading, but maybe not a sample list of meals or menus. If you have the book there's a section in there about eating GM/MM. It's mainly about eating less processed foods on GM days... veggies, fruit, meat, nuts, etc. If you have time to read the thread many of your questions will be answered. If you're tight on time, just read some every day and you'll eventually get it all.

Thanks. I will go to the book and get the guide lines and also try to read the information on the thread. Tried to read on the thread before but was a little overwhelmed. So thought I would ask about a list. Thanks again

    Hi alakaa,

Welcome. In general, lower in carb will help with the thyroid. What kind of thyroid issues you have? Cutting out gluten, coffee, sugar, artificial ingredients might be very important for you to regain control and heal your thyroid. So, even for MM days, I would still avoid the above 4 things if I were you, you can have more liberal amounts of sweet fruit, fatty meat, other type of grains.

On Facebook yesterday. It was one of Teresa's posts. Or a reply to a post.
I have seen it explained more in the 2day/1 day format and I guess as long as we do a majority of GM days per week we are good!

    Sharon,

The standard protocol is 2 days GM, 1 day MM. It is kind of like EOD of Total is the standard workout protocol. There are variations and adaptations you can do based on your need, ability and desire. It is very flexible according to your need and schedule.

Please go back and read Post #13 again, that is some advanced cut and paste from Teresa's brochure. http://forum.t-tapp.com/showthread.p...989#post887989
