I think I'll join you. I'll have to start up tomorrow, however, because I (I can't believe I'm admitting this publicly) had leftover chicken (1 breast) and a couple of scoops of mashed potatoes - ALL FROM KFC - for breakfast. I did go grocery shopping late last night. I got raspberries, peaches, bananas, lettuce mix, tomatoes, All Bran, lean ground beef, lots of beans, among other things, and I am on a break from sugar for the next week. No dessert or sugary drinks or sweet syrups in my iced coffee and iced tea when I go to Starbucks (which has been a bit of a wrenching loss), no artificial sweeteners if at all possible (they sneak that crap into the darnedest things!). My goal is to have a maximum of 2 sweet treats per week, and that's it. For a long time, I've been inhaling sugar like a vacuum sucks up Legos and it's got to stop. I also don't get enough fruits or veggies. I know that I ought to be doing GM/MM.

I am waiting until my 14-day boot camp is over before I start the GM/MM way of eating. My boot camp will end on July 13, then 2 days of rest before I measure and start EOD and GM/MM - so I will be joining you on Monday, July 16!

Unfortunately I answered "Yes" to too many of Michelle's questions. I need to do this challenge but I'm going to be traveling next week. Hmm, do I 'practice' this week and really start in 2 weeks or take the plunge today?!

I guess I will start at breakfast tomorrow and do the best I can! Glad to have this challenge and the company so we stay accountable!

    Thanks Michelle.

I need to read the fine prints before signing.

What is red or black tea, it that GM or MM? I like to have a strong black tea latte with evaporated milk in the morning. I don't do coffee, but I think coffee is MM, Michelle? You are cutting coffee to MM days only? Ohhh, you earn my respect for just trying to make that committment. I can switch to red rooibos tea latte on GM days.

So, where does milk kefir stand? I have this concoction of milk kefit, sweetened vanilla yogurt with maca and royal jelly with ginseng, it tastes so great that I like to have it regardless if it really benefits my adrenal and hormone, are these things GM or MM?

Alfalfa is GM? DE is GM? Multi-vitamin is GM?

These are the only things I care to clarify.

What? Coffee is MM? If so I am in trouble. God grew the beans, they were only roasted by humans so maybe it's 50%/50%? Wouldn't that be similar to oats? Oatmeal?

Hmm, I have to think about this. If coffee is MM then one cup won't hurt me on GM days?
I can give up almost anything for a month but coffee won't be one of those food items. I can much easily give up chocolate

And I have to have one glass of wine per night. Doctor's orders.

I may not be the most stringent at following this challenge but I will do my best and if there's a thing or two I have to tweak then I will. Better to make a couple of exceptions and stick with the GM/MM (for the most part) than not do it at all. On those GM days I will do my best and on MM days I will not do my worst!

I hope not to ask too many questions about GM/MM foods. Don't want to over-question you all!

I am in. Actually doing GM foods everyday this month for health and spiritual reasons, but afterwards I'd like to continue on with GM/MM and really make it part of the lifestyle for longterm health. So I need encouragement and GOOD recipes to make it work for me with hubby and two small kids
