Default Does anyone's hamster need a poncho?

I'm over the moon. Two nights ago I figured out how to do the knit stitch after casting on, and I've been practicing ever since. One hour ago, thanks to a good video on YouTube, I figured out how to purl. So, now I can knit one and purl one and for a beginner, my wad of yarn doesn't look too bad. I'm so proud and there's only 1 big hole from where I missed a couple of stitches. Some lucky hamster is going to get a very nice poncho this Christmas!

Oh, cool! You are to funny. I actually have tried knitting, but it's just to hot here in Texas. I would like to try it again. I actually messed with one of those knitting hoops/loom

and they worked great. I also love mixing my yarns up. I know some friends thought I was nuts, but the end result was really cool. :-)

I have some squirrels that might like a cover up....

    Laughing.... Congrats, Babe!

I've been Tapping since 2009 and always have great results, but in 2012 I found a way to make it a part of my daily life! Have been Tapping regularly - with a very modest schedule but CONSISTENTLY! - since the spring 2012 Challenge and am loving it.

That's how it's done; one stitch at a time. Good for you!

Loving T-Tapp, it's the most sensible system of exercise I've ever encountered.

    LOL! Too funny!

I have some of those holes, too. I figure they just keep me from being too proud!

Good for you! I am almost finished with a shawlette that I started last fall, and it's not perfect, but it's a bit more intricate and I'm tickled that it actually looks decent! It's a great feeling, isn't it?!

Keep it up! We might have to have a Knitting Tappers thread!
