Default Testimonial: Back after Baby! Happy to be Tapping...

So I had my beautiful baby boy 6 weeks ago and I began doing More Chair last week and have moved onto More the last few days. I feel great!

My first baby was a c-section with a very difficult labor and recovery. This time I had a successful VBAC and they said I pushed like a "veteran" mom! I think I have T-Tapp to thank for keeping my abdominals strong throughout my pregnancy which served me well during pushing! While I didn't Tapp as much as I had wanted and had some health issues towards the end of my pregnancy, I just always tried to keep my "butt tucked, shoulders back" as much as I could when sitting, standing, and any activities. I would try to do plies every night when I brushed my teeth.

So, I think just these little bits of activity really helped - I was in much better shape than my first pregnancy where I was so worn out I basically gave up and spent the last month on my couch. Whereas I was still walking at a slow pace for exercise in my last month this time. Oh, and another testimonial for proper alignment: before T-Tapp I suffered chronic knee pain, and I STILL have NO KNEE PAIN despite gaining 30 pounds and no hip pain either - my first pregnancy I was using a walker in my final weeks and had lots of muscle/ligament weakness in my hips/pelvis.

All this to say how I have not left T-Tapp and I'm actually excited to be starting to get back into my routines again! I'm so grateful I found T-Tapp after my first baby and know that it is a healthy way to get back in shape without punishing myself.

Great Testimony and Congratulations to your new baby boy!!!

Let us know how your T-Tapp baby is faring. I heard T-Tapp babies are more alert and have better control of their heads and necks very early on.

Hi! ayj67 - you are RIGHT! I have completely marveled at how strong and alert my baby boy is! He had amazing head control from day 1 pretty much. He even "stands" on my lap (while leaning against my chest during a burp) - but his leg muscles are very strong. When he is awake, he really seems to "connect" with what he's seeing. Unlike my daughter, he loves tummy time and tolerates supporting his head/chest weight all alone very well, sometimes it looks like he's doing little push-ups! My doctor even commented on how strong he is and he's in the 95th percentile for height/weight - my daughter was in the 5/10th. I had no idea T-Tapp had benefits for the baby like that! I'm really glad I stuck with it as much as I could.
