I have a 6 inche bulge down the center of my tummy that is very soft. I know I still have a diastisis of about one finger, which is closing down from well over 2". I am beginning to lose weight on the sides of my waist, which is making my bulge appear even bigger. Dh says he thinks my "beautiful, squishy, sexy tummy" is mostly loose skin. I am sure there is a fair amount of fat as well. I have read T's book and read through the forums for tips. I have a preliminary plan and want anybody to help me out with your personal experiences that might help me out here. Here is what I am doing:
OIP/HF/E daily
skin brushing daily
BBB alfalfa
dead sea salt baths
MORE 2-3 times per week
What else can or should I do? I know there are several Mom's of many who have succeeded. I want to succeed with this too.
Thanks,
Angie
Could you share what you did/changed to see the weight finally come off? I've been off for a week since my 1 yo broke her arm and needed emergency surgery.
I'd love to join you for these daily ideas to see losses by Labor Day!

Goal is health improvements~~not just lost inches & pounds

Julie,
I think I had to fuel my body well in order to lose weight - in other words I had to get healthy first. I had not taken care of my body for many years and it finally all caught up with me. I researched and tried MANY WOE over the past year and finally settled with Weight Watchers. I use many of the things I learned on here along with the points plus system, but it is an easy way to keep track of my eating.
I would love to have you join me for a Labor Day challenge! I have been keeping up pretty good so far, although it hasn't been that long yet.
Blessings,
Angie

Rhonda,
I know other workouts are tempting, I think you need to stay on More Chair, More Broom, More Step Away, and then the workout with the Broom for a few month, might even be 6 months to reverse the trap dominance and be healed. Just pay attention to not letting your traps to take over for any moves, let the lats and abs do the heavy duty. I will also say floor exercise will be very good for you (the lying down ones), you will have no choice but use your lats and abs. Remember, if you want to be pain free and a nice firm tummy, you need to use upper abs, mid abs, and lower abs, and the lats. Concentrate on these 4 muscles whether standing, stepping or lying down.

Angie, might not be 24/7 all the time, the whole time when you workout to start with. Then, try to think about and do it once or twice a day when you are not working out, like checking the forum. If you can keep these muscles tight and ribs up during the computer time, it is pretty good.
