    Default T-Tapping Barefoot

I read the Skechers 2250 is the best shoe to wear during T-Tapping, but I'm a barefoot person. In the front door, shoes are off. (Yea, that pile doesn't belong to the teenage boys but to the momma! ) It seems I can really feel the KLT if I'm not in shoes. At work, in shoes, I am more aware of walking KLT instead of big toe.

    Can I Tapp without shoes?

Only if you have been consistent for a few months and are strong enough too. But ONLY BWO. Never any move from Inst.2 Teresa even says the trainers aren't strong enough to do that barefoot.

You never know, you might decide you like it! I often do BWO barefoot, for convenience sake, but when I take the time to lace up, I'm amazed at the difference it makes! (And I've been tapping for nearly 3 years...)

I'm barefoot the rest of the time, but I have my Skechers on for T-Tapp! It's easier than you think to lose form barefoot. It's not just the KLT, but gripping toes, collapsing core, dropping ribs...yeah, I've done it all!

Barefoot Basic is worth investing in, but yes, Michelle is right--you need those shoes esp. for the flamingo moves! ( One-legged) They challenge your core and you need all the stability you can get on the standing leg!

I just bought a pair of Sketchers Energy this weekend and I was amazed what it did for my stability! No more knee pain and much more control and core strength for my moves. I really love them! My problem was the shoes I was wearing wre just past their prime for good support. It's a purchase I'm so glad I made!

Okay. I am convinced. I'll buy a pair of Skechers and learn to like them.

Is it safe to use Sketchers Shape-Ups while doing T-Tapp?

Oh no, not the wobbly shoes... You can twist and have a sprain and injuries... Definitely not doing T-Tapp...

I am new to T-Tapp and tried BWO with just plain sneakers then with the Skechers Energy and it makes such a difference. It makes the moves feel like they are working more and your feet feel supported. I highly recommend them they are worth the investment. I have decided I will only use them for T-Tapp so they will last longer.
