    Thanks everyone for the congrats.
Ronda i take alfalfa, a prenatal and a dha with vit d and thats all. I too hate pills.
My bf is a fantastic cook and he has incorporated turmeric into many of our meals. He used to have bad knees before ttapp
He puts it in eggs sometimes, we do alot of chicken abd veges sauteed in coconut oil with turmeric and quinoa sometimes rice.
I was addicted to processed foods and there was alot of eating food and telling myself i liked it until the taste buds changed...
Now i love the taste. I have to go to work but i will see what i can come up with for food ideas. Even though supplements may
give a high dose of said herbs i think adding to cooking is a great start!

    Rhonda,

I don't take turmeric or cayenne in capsules. I add them as cooking ingredient, or drink my cayenne in the morning with ACV (hot and sour soup to me). Black sesame, it was not a hardship on yogurt or oatmeal, it is a primary dessert ingredient in my culture. You probably will not be able to find it anyway. Milk Thistle is something you can do a few months to see if you can help your liver to get back to its function if you cannot figure out what is the trigger for the Triglyceride after you cut down on process food, starchy carb and sugar. It take 2-3 months for the blood to change over, you need to try at least for 3 months and then do your blood test again.

    Jennifer,

From what I have read, cholesterol is a messenger and repair crew for the body. It brings fat and sugar to the muscles and organs to use, and our cells are constantly in building up and tearing down mode in our body, cholesterol is used to patch thing up. When our body is inflammed, there is more irritation, and more holes to patch up than regular, so a lot of cholesterol is created in the body for that reason.

Fever, cholesterol, high blood pressure, they are all indicators of problems, they are not problems themselves. Finding what causes them will be more important than taking some drug to suppress the symptoms.

So I guess the key is to eliminate the inflammation. Hmmm... Research!

I tried to post this but couldn't get it to tack on.

www.earthinginstitute.net is about grounding, aka earthing, and it really fights inflammation by matching you to the earth's frequency. It's so inexpensive, easy and painless to do. Many of us sleep grounded.

I do! And I can attest to it's helping! Dh is helping 2 of our dds rig up a sheet to see if it will help them. I'm sure it will! We'd gladly buy them all at least the half-sheet but can't right now. With his contractor and electrical knowledge (he entirely rewired our old farmhouse) he knows what to do. As we can, we'll get each "bed" their own, as obviously the washing and all is not going to be so convenient on the homemade version! LOL!

But seriously, my dh's heart arrhythmias stopped within 2 days of sleeping grounded. I noticed improved sleep and better sleep. Other little aches went away, too. Now that I think of it, I think it also helped when I was sinking with my adrenals again last winter.

    Definitely worth checking into!

Jaci, love your ideas for cooking with turmeric!
