Use this thread!!! I'm such a goofball! I started 2 threads on accident! I was using my Iphone to start it and didn't see that my first thread was posted, so I started another one. That figures, that the first time in so long that I start a thread and I start 2!

Done practicing for the night! It's for the wedding we're playing for Tuesday evening--rehearsal tomorrow night. Then we'll find out how much more practice we need Tuesday day!

YAY, Lori!!!! You done good!! heee heee

Getting that practicing done, Trisch!!! I had fun reading all about it over on the Six Week thread! Can't wait to hear that recording!

We had a Teen Service at church last night. My 18 yo dd sang for the last time with one of her df's. My 15 yo dd sang for the 1st time all by herself! We were so proud of her!!!! My 14 yo ds performed in one of the skits. Their's was on Shadrach, Mesach, and....and..... He did a great guard and "died" beautifully after throwing the 3 into the fiery furnace!

Cool today! It's not even 60 this morning yet. So weird after 90s the last couple of weeks!

Too much going on to comment mnore....have a great day, everyone!

Happy Birthday to your dd Wendy! 6 has been fun here!

    Jennifer, the performances sound great!

We had a first recital this weekend. My 10 year old's piano recital. He was so cute. I HAD to get him a suit w/tie (thank you Walmart) to wear, which he wore with his hiking boots. Then he insisted my dh wear a suit too! He did a great job and look forward to seeing what he can do with his piano.

Weeeellll...ordered 50 chicks to brood. They'll be delivered on the 11th. The chicks that have hatched here are from small eggs and we'd like larger eggs. So, 25 of the chicks are large meat breed roosters and the other 25 are a rainbow mix of egg layers. We'll have fun learning the breeds as they grow!! And boy, will we have eggs to sell! Hopefully I can keep them all alive! The thing I'm nervous about is they'll only be 4 weeks old when we leave on our 5 night camping trip in Oregon. Hope I'm not adding too much to my caretaker. I may talk to another friend and have her come out to check on them all a few times in the evenings. I can always repay her in eggs! lol!!

    Hello to everyone! Happy June!!

Rose, if I lived close I would take care of them and would gladly let you pay me in eggs! I don't know how much they are in Calif, but here in Texas, farm fresh eggs are $4/doz. when you have a large family (who love eggs!) and your husband doesn't have a regular income, that's astronomical! A friend gave us some of her eggs and they had bright yellow yokes and were delicious! Store-bought eggs don't even come close! I would love it if we could make a movable chicken coop (one that would also fertilize the yard) and get chickens...we're just not able to right. Ow. btw, I bet your men looked handsome in their suits!

All the recitals sound fun! You all will have to post video clips when able! It's so much fun to see our children have fun performing and feeling good about their accomplishments!

Wendy, it sounds like the party was a lot of fun! I'm sure your little guy was blessed...

It's so good to be back with all of you! I've kept up with Nikki and Rose on Facebook. I've missed you! Will try to be faithful to keep in touch with you all when I sit down to feed Joshua. A friend GAVE me her IPHONE 4, when she upgraded to the 4s! I felt very undeserving and humble, but at the same time, I was very grateful and thrilled! So, the iPhone makes it easier for me to check in with you all, while I'm sitting down and nursing/relaxing.

Joshua is already 2 1/2 months old! I have pics on FB...he's a sweetie and we're really enjoying him!

I keep all of you in my prayers...hi Pamela! Your little one is adorable...congratulations!!!
