Good to know, Betsy Jo. I wonder if they've other similarities being in the same family? Sage is a known abortificent and an absolute no-no for a healthy pregnancy.

    Default Info On Chia Seeds

    Hello,

New to T-Tapp, (saw this thread, but had to wait to get okayed into the forum)
CHIA is Great food, used historically on the journeys of ancient Aztecs (FYI)
Once you are used to the benefits, (which can be easily found online: google chia seed benefits) you may not mind the texture, But....meanwhile, my inexpensive blender grinds them up just fine, everyday, in my smoothy and because they really don't have a taste, the smoothie tastes like whatever else is in it. Benefits are Very worthwhile, can be found in most health food stores, if online omega3chia lasts for longer tahn labels are allowed to say, (omega 3's that are stable!) about 5 yrs. I've done a lot of research. (If loose bowels are a chronic problem or a blood thinner is contraindicated, check with Dr., I always google to find out the benefits and also the cautions to using Any new food or supplement.

Thanks! to the T-Tapp community who has inspired me to begin..............
    Elise
