    Default Almost time to start my TWO---positive thoughts please!

    Hi guys,

    I don't know if you remembered, but about a month ago I posted on how I am not getting anywhere with T-Tapp. I ran a 1/2 marathon in Feb and started a BWO+ program right after while continuing to run and my regular exercise. And I gained inches. Sigh. I am starting to think T-Tapp and I don't work. BUT...

    I have a 5K scheduled for Saturday and my 9 year old and I are going to run/walk it. Then I am starting a 3 week, TWO ONLY exercise program. My trainer at the gym is totally cool with this as he believes in changing things up. I've cut out the running since I developed plantar fasciitis after the 1/2 marathon.

    The only kink in my plans is that my thyroid appears to be bad and I am in that 6 week in between blood test stage. We haven't changed my doses, but I am now completely timed in when I take my meds.

    2 weeks into this, I am actually meeting a trainer, Kirsten Tucker, who is coming to my area! I can't stay for her sessions because I am taking 4th grade girls camping (yea girl scouts!), but I arranged a 90 minute 1-on-1 session.

    Please help me stay positive. I am so sick of seeing my body get out of shape. I know the thyroid malfunction has a ton to do with this, but I can't wait forever for each blood test to check it out. My foot is almost healed and I know T-Tapp doesn't stress the PF.

    I'm not religious, so save your prayers for those who can use them, but please send words of encouragement my way. I am starting Saturday evening after the race with a 5 day boot camp (5 days because I think Saturday my form is going to suck) and then I have EOD for 3 weeks, then a 2 day break in between for 3 weeks then 2X a week after that. I've scheduled this all out on my calendar and I am sticking with TWO instead of BWO+ unless I really can't find the time.

    Thanks. The first 3 weeks are JUST TWO. My goal is to get rid of the extra fat, tone up and to jump start my metobolism again.

    (BTW- can't change my diet as we are testing for gluten issues in 3 more weeks. I need to maintain my current diet. Only change has been a 24oz glass of lemon water a day)

    That's GREAT you can meet up with Kirsten! I know she'll be a big help and encouragement!

    Your plan sounds really doable--just listen to your body and if you end up needing to split TWO up sometimes, don't feel badly doing so. Healing the thyroid is a big job! Good thoughts for your healing, too!

    Nance,

    Your plan looks good.

    I will suggest you to use Instructional 1 & 2 for your bootcamp, or at least for the first one or two day before doing Total again. It is still considered as a bootcamp.

    Do you have magnesium oil? Mag oil foot soak might be great for your PF.

    If your Total package comes with Tempo BWO+, try doing Tempo BWO+ sometimes (you can sub the BWO+ at Total), when you are bored or tired or short in time.

    Lats activation is important, remember to make sure Kirsten tweak your form to enable lats activations.

    Thanks all! I am really hoping this helps as I feel totally out of control with my thryoid.

    And yes, lat activation is what I've been working on, so I am definitely asking Kirsten for help there!

    Can you believe I lost instructional 1? I was planning to do BWO and then use instructional 2 for my boot camp.

    Ouches on misplaced Instructional 1, I will suggest getting Total Superslow, Critter Crunch Floor and Ladybug for your progression and foot rehab with floor workout

    I just discovered that my husband had ripped instructional 1 to his computer for me to put on my ipod! Now that I know this, I can burn it back to a DVD for myself! Yea! I can also reformat and get it on my kindle for when I am out of town! Color me happy!
