Stand with your hands down by your side. Now just lift your arms straight up. Stop when they are shoulder height. Flip your hands so that your palms are point to the ceiling. Stretch your fingers toward the side walls. Tighten arms and stretch like someone is standing at each side and stretching your arms to the side walls.

You have to bend and retuck because you unbend and become untucked during the movement. We stop thinking about it. I watch one of my dds doing TappCore. Every time Teresa says Bend it, Tuck it, Lift it, my dd bends really deep. But by the time she is tucking she is already starting to unbend and by the time she is "lifting" she is completely unbent and untucked!!! She has FINALLY asked me to "spot" her and help her stay in better form. (She is 15)

I know Ayj already said it all....but I couldn't help putting my own spin on things. I'm so sorry that you had such a bad day, Rita and am praying for you!
Thanks Jennifer! I love hearing others take on it.
Yes, I would think a spotter would be helpful. That is great you've got your daughter doing it too.
I picked up a exercise shirt yesterday, first time I found one in my size! A nice coral color. Brighten up my day. Problem was I reacted to some broccoli we had for dinner and had a stomach ache all day! What a way to shop.

I find the KLT stance to natural now. LIke you can just 'sit' into that position and feel strong there. Really a change from when I started it.
So much more to do though, as I lost nearly all this week, just not having energy to do much of anything at all.
Really reminds me i have to take good care if I am going to make any forward progress.

Trisch, remind me again what products you used as supplements ? Teresa's B complex and that Royal Jelly ? I already take quite a bit, but at this stage if I miss a day it really affects me.

    Thanks everyone !

I would put a lot of onions in beef stock and soup, that makes it more like French Onion soup like for beef bone broth. You can eat the meat or not, but GAPS want less fiber and difficult to digest vegetables and meat in the beginning. I would not worry one way or the other, after 12 hours, the meat falls off the bone. The cultural eating, you can have those meat if you want to. For guts healing, no for a few good months.

Great news on T-Tapp stance feel second nature. You body is starting the healing and the physical therapy is taking hold, congratulations. I know, we celebrate all these little major things.

Rita, I'm with ayj--it's great that KLT and the stance seems normal and natural now! In fact, when I'm trying to help my clients feel the effects of slouching, I have to think about it and force myself! LOL!

    Supplements:

    Teresa's B complex (Country Life https://store.t-tapp.com/products/Co...plex-Caps.html )
    Royal Jelly
    Rhodiola
Kelp and spirulina (I mix half and half in my own capsules, but you could put it in a smoothie, too, or just buy capsules of each separately)
A good quality vitamin C, preferably with bioflavinoids. I mix acerola and amla, then take Ester C.

    HTH!

Thanks Ayj67, so I would add onions but strain it all out for GAPS healing correct ?

Right now I think clear broth would more appetizing than the meat. My head does funny things to my stomach LOL

and the salt too is okay ?

    THanks!

Yes, ayj67, this really felt good when it felt so natural. Now, problem is, doing it with butterflies, I"m not doing it up to 160 seconds. I just get into position and then do the butterflies.
Even though I feel sort of strong in the KLT, I feel if I wait longer I will loose form.

I sure hope less is more for me, as some days like today, I can barely think.

Oh, and forgot in that last post. HOW long will 12 hours Beef Broth last once cooked ?
I made this 2 or 3 days ago and want to be sure it will be okay when I drink it ?
Would I be better to strain it all and then freeze it so no worries for it spoiling ?

    THanks so much,
    ~Rita

Thanks for the list again. I will have to get a order in the store so will pick up some of the Bcomplex I thought.
The others I guess I can get locally. And I should add the 10,000 VIt D too right ? I"m getting bloodwork done (as soon as I can drag myself to the lab!)

I sure hope get me feeling stronger. Today I was so washed out. Just went to visit a friend with the boys and it wore me out. Not to mention that broccoli acting up on my stomach yesterday. I'm off to bed here.

Does anyone have any ideas for meals. We are gluten free as well as the boys are dairy free. Meal times are so hard for me to decide. I end up just eating nuts all morning (not hungry much) and then get worn out by noonish from not enough food.
I find this is the hardest for me right now. I tend to have low blood sugar issues and if I don't eat often I get low blood sugar and it gets my anxiety all stirred up too.

Anyhow, if you have any other adrenal tips I"m all ears.

Hard to believe we can get so out of shape, just taking care of our families.

    Wow,
    Thanks,
    ~Rita

I think adrenal fatigue will want more salt, try to see if you can get Celtic Sea Salt. If for soup, just get the greyish coarse salt.

I agree, I use celtic sea salt liberally to taste.

Good fats--make sure you get some butter or coconut oil in with your broth. How long it lasts? Usually a week in the refrigerator, but if you want to be sure, it would be fine to freeze some. We do that, too, sometimes (and sometimes we have had to throw broth out, which really is a crying shame!)

I'll try to think of some easy protein ideas for morning. You need more than just nuts! Or at least add some good butter to those nuts, a touch of honey and some cinnamon. That will get your good fats, some natural sugar for energy and the protein of the nuts. Do you soak and dehydrate the nuts? A little more work but makes them much more digestible! I used to think they would taste awful, but it actually brings the nutty flavor out more!

    Can you do eggs?

I do a lot of eggs for breakfast and snack, just hard boiled a dozen at a time (I am just talking about a dozen for myself), after it is cool down, they go into a ziplock back. I get it whenever I know I need some protein. You know how to make the perfect boiled eggs, start the egg in cold water, once the water reach boiling, turn the heat off. You can let them stay in the water, or take it out, the yolk will be set, and no green lining on the yolks even after days in the fridge.

I find no nitrites deli meat from Trader Joes, but you probably don't have one. You can just that you make a big roasts a week (Beef, lamb or turkey). If you have no hormone turkey that is even better (save the bones and carcass and skin for broth). Once the roast is cool down, or left over after weekend dinner, you slice them up right away, sprinkle some salt or spice, put 2-3 oz in small ziplock bags or sandwich bags. You will have a big stash of homemade healthy organic no additive deli meat. If there is too much, put in a gallon size ziplock bag for the freezer. Leave 5-10 small servings in the deli drawer for snack, for topping for the salad, etc. I often just grab one and heat up with frozen vegetables if I don't have time and energy to cook, or in a rush to work and need to pack lunch.

I hate to admit, but no nitrite bacon are quite a pick me up... I make too much for Sunday brunch, and then put the left over (not really left over, I have to put them away right away in ziplock bags and put in the freezer). No defrosted really needed for bacon, I snack on it when I come home hungry and start making dinner.

It is actually very funny that we tell you to eat more fat and salt, but until your adrenal is healed, you need to do what is good for it and you.
