Default 2N2 Goal Getters May 2012

Hi! Sorry I forgot to start this thread. Geesh!! (thanks for the reminder Asha)

Hot here today. 90 degrees. But I am not complaining. Just thankful for AC

Hope all is well with all of you. My weight seems to be at a stand still. Going to try some new "products" Will see if they help.

Off to take my boy to baseball!!

Tina, enjoy the baseball and weeknd with the boys. My friend and I are enjoying cricket but we are only watching the games on TV.

90 sounds positively cool! Our temps this week have all been 106 to 108 and I see that by middle of next week we will be more like 111 Oh we are lucky!!

Hope you find something to tweak to keep the weight going down - you have done so well. I need to get back to this seriulsy - am thinking that honestly I need to cut out wheat - easier said than done when I am not doing my own cooking and have little control of my diet - but I am going to work on it. Also need to seriously stop drinking any coke - in this hot weather anything cold sounds good!

    Hi Ladies,

Tina, enjoy soccer Big soccor final here today with home town playing against Chelsea, looks as though Chelsea will win though

My weight has stabalised too, I'm 5lbs heavier than at Christmas but it seems to be where my body wants to be, so, instead of trying to lose the lbs, I'm concentrating on toning and alhtough I haven't measured, I can feel that my clothes are looser, and that's just in a week.

Hi Asha! Wow those temps sound ridiculous! I would just wilt like a wall flower if I were there. How are things? How's the studying going? How are the kids doing?

I'm fine, it's a long weekend here. I've been out this morning, coffee then shopping, I've done a few hours of housework, so proud of myself, this place looks fabulous, even if I do say so myself, (did I tell you about my new leaf I've turned over? From being the untidiest person in the world, I've turned into Monica Gellar, and I love it.) Just had my shower and painted my nails. I'm supposed to be on a date tonight, but I'm half expecting him to get cold feet and cancel at least I'll be ready if he doesn't.

I will be back very soon xxx

Jackie, great job on all the cleaning! How did the date go if it happened?! I'm still loving RPJ in Silk now - will have to check out The 39 Steps BBC movie too. Still have a couple of epsidoes of Whitechapel to finish up will have to look for others with him in it after this run!

Tina, I just bought the book this past weekend! I've read it some today and this is exactly what I need to do to get healthy - so here goes. This is going to be an uphill battle but then I think I am used to those or should be by now! How was the soccer game. Watching way too much cricket here!

Hot, hot day here temps are at 108 or something like that and 111 by Friday. I think I sweat all the time and have clothes sticking to me - ugh! I will try to exercise tomoorw morning before it gets really hot.

Hope all the rest of you are doing great including lurkers!

Hi. Sitting outside enjoying this beautiful evening. My oldest isn't feeling well. Hope he isn't getting the virus we had.

Asha--wow those are some hot temperatures. That is great that you have the book. Keep me posted. I have thought about giving that a try but haven't. Stay cool. Cheering you on. Big hugs!

Jackie--hi. Did you go on the date? That is great that your body is where it needs to be. Cheering you
n for your toning. I have thought about trying Yoga. I have such problems with my neck being tense. What is your secret to having the house so tidy? Take care.hugs!

Hi Asha How are those temps doing hon? Still very high? Well, I'm still tidying and cleaning, just having a break before I do a bit more. Date did go ahead and it went really well, had a lovely time, not sure when or even if we'll go out again, but I hope so. How is the studying going? xx

Hi Tina How is J feeling? Really hope he didn't come down with a virus. Yeah, I think the body has spoken, I'd like to be a bit lighter, but I like my food too much so as well as being super good Monday-Friday, I'd have to be very stict on the weekend too instead of having treats and life's just too short. Date was lovely thanks The secret to having the house so tidy? Well, I have always aspired to be a tidy person, but I never was, and I think it may have been the thought of my date seeing my place one day, in an untidy state that kicked me off, but now I've been bitten by the bug, and I just want to go through everything. It sounds ridiculous but I feel like I can breathe and think more clearly now that I'm tidy! Everywhere anyone can see is tidy and spotless but I still have two bedrooms and a walk-in cupboard to blitz which is going to take a while, still, I'm so proud of myself

I really feel for you with the neck problems, mine is very senstive too and managed to really pull it last weekend, it's still not 100%.

Well, plans for the coming week, if I can find one of my TTapp dvd's or old videos, I want to start doing TTT again, nothing trims a waist like it, and summer is on the way afterall!

I will be back soon. Hope you're both, and everyone else is having a great weekend xxx

    Hi Ladies

I'm in the middle of sorting the walk in cupboard and just about to have lunch so thought I'd pop in here
How is everyone? No sunny days here yet Tina, you would not think it was summer, another grey, cloudy and chilly day, but I live in hope!

I measured this morning and started TTT today. I only did 5 reps each side, I am as stiff as a board and can hardly bend in the middle! Still, I'm going to aim to do it daily, and I'll try to remember to measure next Saturday and see if any progress has been made.

How are you Asha? Any updates? Hope it's cooled down a little.

Take care everyone, I will be back soon x
