I wish I could *so clearly see* whether there are other benefits to me. There might be. Depression might be less, it's hard to gauge because mine is in large part hormonal, so I'll think it's better for 2 weeks, then BLAM ... LOL
But I, too, plan to keep on keeping on being consistent, and hope to someday be one of the "I was a slow loser, too" people who encourage others with their amazing END results

Kim- I hear ya! My depression tends to be hormonal. St. John's Wort works very well for me. I tried it after reading that it works especially well for mild depression brought on by hormones. The interesting thing is that it is biochemically the same (but natural of course) as the class of drugs called SSRI (Serotonin Selective Reuptake Inhibitors) so it helps with keeping the Neurotransmitter Serotonin circulating in your brain instead of it being taken up into the synapses. You can read about it and other natural methods in a great book called The Mood Cure by Julia Ross.

You aren't hit or miss with this challenge, Kim! You are doing great!
I understand about the ADD...my son has that. I have to be his "frontal lobe" for him and give him structure. Can you get your dh or your older children to hold you accountable if you make a plan, say for your supplements? Just a thought

I maybe am not *actually* ADD - I've never been diagnosed. I don't know. Maybe it's just busy mom syndrome. I'm not a focused and disciplined person :-P My husband probably wouldn't remind me to take supplements, he tends to be very cynical and think it's all snake oil ... But maybe if I can train myself to take it when I work out or something ... or with my morning coffee, THAT I don't skip
But yes, I HAVE been very consistent in THIS challenge. Thank you for pointing that out to me! I am not good at SEEING those things, even when I'm trying, LOL.

I hear ya about the scattered mommy brain, LOL!
See, you are consistent with your coffee! BTW, if your coffee has caffeine in it, you may want to research about that linking with exacerbating depression, although I have also read the opposite (that it helps). That's what it said in the Mood Cure anyway (about caffeine making things worse). From what I've read, caffeine can stress your adrenals. http://www.naturalnews.com/012352.html But you'd have to look into these things yourself
Women overall tend to be more negative, and disregard all the positive; at least I see that tendency in myself and so many others.
