Hi Everyone,
I'm still here! Hubby is finally getting better. It looks like he experienced something called hypersensitivity pneumonitis...severe allergic reaction that resulted in some major lung inflammation. He's finally starting to breath better. And, drove himself to work today. After nearly three full weeks of this, I'm so relieved. We ended up seeing a pulmonary specialist that did a bunch of tests to make sure his heart wasn't affected and there wasn't permanent chronic damage to his lungs. So far, so good.
I didnt do any kind of workout for two weeks. This past Saturday I popped in my disc of the Healthy Hormones special from the recent DDT. It's a KILLER workout! I'm amazed at the level of activation I'm able to get during those 20 minutes. (I saw that some of you all are posting that the workout is 10 min? Mine is a full 20 min. Weird! Are there different versions, I wonder?) I did that workout for the past six days, plus OIP.HF yesterday and today. Wow, it's good to be back in the T-tapp saddle!
I had to back out of my recital (the one I tried out for in April) as it was too chaotic with my husband's illness. I was acting as hubby's secretary (he couldn't speak, but had a myriad of calls to return for his work) and cook, laundress, waitress, and driver. I love that guy! Anyway, I didn't have any time to practice dancing. I didn't have the focus, either. It was very scary. We were very worried, cause he wasn't able to speak or walk for about a week.
But, silver lining, on Monday I was invited to dance with my teacher and her troupe at an outdoor festival in Annapolis this coming Sunday. Very low-key and relaxed event. I said, "yes!" Fingers crossed that hubby will be able to accompany me. We'll have to bring him a camping chair as I'm also hoping he'll agree to take a video or some photos.
I will slowly catch up on all the shenanigans I've missed here by reading through your posts.
Happy May!
