Perimenopausal Support
I am really struggling with the whole Man Made/God Made choices this last week. I had a partial hysterectomy last July from chronic pain and have been primarily pain free until about 2 months ago. It finally got so bad last night that I dug around until I found some old pain medicine. I am swelling a lot in my lower abs which make me even more frustrated with wanting inch loss and I am definitely eating too much Man Made carbs to self soothe. I did get an apt with my doc for Tuesday so hopefully will figure out what is going on. At 43, I know hormones are playing a major part. I just feel so out of control of them and as if they are dictating my life, which I do not like.
Any other 40 somethings with some words of encouragement is so appreciated.

Kimberly,
Let last week go and enjoy this one. Maybe the pain is something agrivated from OIP or scar tissue.
It's good you are going to get it checked out. Try taking some magnusium 100- 200 mg see if that helps. It relaxes . Just don't take too much, you will get the runs!
Also take a bath with epson salts or sea salt to relax.
I am in my mid 50's and know it can be a roller coaster ride hormonally. Sugar seems to make it worse, and any junk food.

Sometimes grains can cause issues like that. Hormones certainly can play a part, too!
I will say that dealing with the emotional issues that cause you to turn to man-made foods is a part of healing. I was an emotional eater and I'm amazed at how much healing I went through emotionally last year. I have to say that T-Tapp has helped me to be ready to address my eating, and it was more of a spiritual/emotional issue than I realized! But don't stress about it--the time to deal with it will come, and as you continue to make baby steps, you will then be able to take bigger steps, whether that is dealing with emotional issues, making better food choices, working out consistently, whatever!
HUGS to you! Dawn is right--it's a new week! Don't let the past paralyze you!

Thank you both for taking the time to share your own wisdom. I've come to believe that hormones actually run the universe! I think the pain increasing led to some emotional eating because I'm trying to numb out that pain. I didn't really think about OIP maybe stirring things up but I will see if I can find a pattern. I'm still trying to get through the skeptical part of wondering if TTapp alone will work for me and it seems like the added abdominal pain is tripping me up by distracting me and preventing inch loss in the hip region.
Thank you again and I'm still Tapping!

It will work
Ttapp will work, you may just need to take it slower because of you partial hyster.
I had a complete one years ago and it took quite a while to heal.
Listen to your body, do what you can and you will keep progressing.
It's good you have kept on..just do what you can and in a while you will be able to do more without pain.
