Thread: HCG Diet and T-Tapp

I've done the hcg a couple of times both doctor supervised and homeopathic. I found I got hungry and lathargic much sooner on the homeopathic. I've lost over 100 pounds but only kept off 60. I also have type 1 diabetes and this diet sent me into the hospital and increased my insulin resistance. Luckily my t-tapping is slowly helping me with my sugar control, I have to do the full workout in the morning and the BWO+ before bed every day or my sugars are 200+. I love the weight loss hcg gave me but the complications it caused are troublesome. If anyone considering hcg is diabetic PLEASE work closely with your doctors and to t-tapp through it it will help keep that motabolsim going! As for me going to give t-tapp a chance to work I still have another 60 to go but not sure if I should do more hcg.

Hi Suann, just wanted to say I have dealt with crazy blood sugar issues and pcos. I would highly recommend Alphalipoic acid with acetyl l carntine. It's great to keep you in fat burning but it really clears out sugar from the blood stream fast. I used to have vision issues from my blood sugar but ALA has removed that and I have SO much more energy. I use the source naturals brand.

So glad I found this thread! I am just about ready to start my 2nd round of sub Q HCG. For the first time in 15 years I am BELOW 200lbs. I can't T-TAPP on it though because it drops my blood sugar fairly easily. LOL! I am the thinnest I have been too. I'm almost in a size 12! Instead of P3 I switched to Leptin Reset and I have stabilized completely! I also use A LOT of coconut and MCT oil and that is making a huge difference in my appetite. I will be cycling back and forth between the two diets as I continue to loose. While I'm on LR I am rotating arms and target-pop legs to help with muscle tone.

My friends are amazed and how good my body is looking even though I am not exercising. The high end of my ideal weight is 150 but my friends say I will look gaunt at that weight! I attribute it to 7 years of T-Tapp of course! The muscle tone is coming though beautifully as the fat melts off!

Targl--do you have a recipe for your homemade vinegrette ? Could I do say 500 cals every other day and still do the hcg, (I don't think I could do it everyday) ? I have lost like that before w/o drops or injections , because it really cuts the cals for the week...Is there a good place to get recipes ? I got the synthetic drops and they really helped as well....Sorry about so many questions but just very interested...

You're not truly doing the diet if you do it that way. Your results will be different but it's up to you. My Dr's office had me do 600 calories. Also, one of the reasons for the diet it to help you work though food addictions and cravings. If you're doing it one day on and one day off you're not maximizing the benefits of working though those issues. They key to not being hungry is loading properly on HIGH quality fats the first two days. I didn't my first round and I was hungry but I just road it out and then BAM I wasn't hungry. I did get bored with the diet but I found that that was my bodies way of working through some cravings.

Also, I want to share I was really afraid of doing this when I first met with my Dr. last summer. But then I saw a picture of myself that was really unflattering and I realized something had to be done. I met with my therapist in October and said that if I didn't have 30lbs off by this March I would have either the lap-band or gastric bypass. He knew I had been struggling for so many years and suggested I do HCG first. He's had a lot of patients keep the weight off with HCG and he has had gastric patients who have had to go on HCG after their surgery because they didn't get their addictions eliminated.

Right , thats what I'm always known about the lap band and such-the people have not changed inside (that takes awhile). So it couldn't be good, I knew a girl who had one of "those" and said she could not go into mcdonalds and finish a burger and fries . She said it would hurt and she said so with a sadness, but I think I may check into this diet further. What about recipes does the doctor give them to you or just go look on the internet ?
BTW I want to be a long torso/long leg--I'm short torso/ long leg...you must look nice now...Thanks Anne..

It will depend on the clinic but if you google HCG P2 (phase 2) meals and go on Pinterest you'll get a lot of ideas. Just be prepared for chicken, chicken, chicken! LOL! Also, I found HCGdietinfo.com very helpful for questions regarding dosing, delivery method, stalls, food ideas, etc. Grammy over there is sort of the resident guru if you search through the treads you'll find a lot of practical advice from her.

Well T-tapp has helped a lot because my muscles are more tone than the average joe doing this diet. Quite frankly I think they've just been waiting to make an appearance LOL! If you decide to do it, I'm happy to help as you need it.

I'm so glad to see some fellow hcg'ers on here! It's been a total God send for me! I've lost 67 pounds on it so far and like Anne, I've went under 200 pounds for the first time in about 15-20 years (I can't even remember for sure).

Wanda, I'd be happy to answer any questions you have too. I have a copy of the original protocol written by Dr. Simeons if you'd like to read it. People who follow it to a T have the best luck with hcg. You can't go back on forth from day to day though. With hcg in your system, if you don't do the low calorie diet you WILL gain weight. Anne is right though, once it gets in your system you really aren't hungry.

I'm on round 3 and just have about 10 days or so to go. I'm ready to eat eggs again! LOL!

I was just thinking to suggest she read the book too. The super cool part is your body continues to reshapes itself once you're off the HCG and in between rounds. I'm not sure how many inches I've lost since stopping it, but it's significant.

Lisa, I'm doing Leptin Reset now and OH EM GEEEEE! am I enjoying bacon and eggs and avocados, etc. LOL! I am not looking forward to having chicken and veggies only again. BUT I know it will be temporary and that it will give me results. Unlike everything else I've tried.
