    Exclamation Help! Advice needed with Alfalfa!

    Hi ladies,

    I need some advice with the Alfalfa.

    My in laws are coming to town in a few days to stay with our little ones while my sweet hubby and I take a much needed mini-vacation. Just so happens that my monthly visitor decided to come late this time around and has left me feeling MISERABLE. I haven't even started yet and I am already feeling moody, extremely bloated, achy, etc. etc. I have even noticed that my feet seem to be more swollen than normal (not sure if that's due to the warm weather or what??).

    Will taking more Alfalfa help with the bloating and/or swollen feet at all???? Right now I am taking 2 pills 3 x a day. How many can I take in a day? When will I know that I am taking the right amount (for me)???

    You can take as much as you want, it is a food source supplement, no dosage limit. I think Teresa at one point in her bad meno time took 24 a day.

    I will suggest you get some stepping or HD, that will get rid of excess bad mood hormone. If you have Awesome legs do that after OIP. PBS, Jazz Twist and T-Tapp Twist, then HD and AL will help getting rid of a lot of fluid retention. Of course, you have to drink more water to flush out bloating.

    You could up it by a few. You can take 24 daily if necessary! But please don't up it to that overnight! Whenever I need to increase mine (usually the week of TOM), I do it by just a few every 2-3 days.

    With my cycle being late this month I feel like I am in a total funk or something!?! I can't really explain it other than I just feel out of sorts....and of course going on vacation feeling icky and extremely bloated was not what I had in mind, so that has left me feeling a bit defeated. This time last month I felt great and so happy with the progress I have made with t-tapp. I literally felt excited about having pics taken while on vacation because of the great progress I had made...now I feel like crying. lol Oh the joys of an inconsistant cycle...

    Anyway - thanks so much for your tips.

    I think I will slowly start adding some more alfalfa and try to stick with my workouts the best that I can.

    I have heard that 12 caps/day (split up into 3 increments) is recommended for hormonal balance, which is what it sounds like you are asking for. Trisch makes a good point, to increase your dosage slowly. I hadn't heard that before, but it sounds like good advice!
