Sorry about your FIL, Nikki. I think balance is good!

LIttle one didn't take much of a nap yesterday andI was so needing one since I got up at 3:30am to get dh off at 4 am (last 3 days)

This morning though he said he had to get up at 3am. I heard the alarm and actually asked the children (we all sleep in one tiny room) to turn it off please (thinking that it was one of their alarms) and rolled over and went back to sleep. I woke at 4am and had to quick wake up dh and he didnt get off until 4:30am.
Poor guy, he is exhausted!!He is driving to Sendai each day for meetings, which is about a 4 hr drive each way.

Last night the kids had karate, and they get back at 9pm, but they always wake Sayuri who sleeps on a mat in the living room until later when I take her to bed (she is a party girl...and keeps everyone up laughing if I put her in the room with the other children at bedtime) Dh dropped them off and then went back to work and got home about 11 pm.

So I took her to bed before they got home...and fell asleep too. I woke when they came home, but figured that they could handle having baths and getting to bed on their own...I mean they do it everytime!!! They were great and were very quiet too. I think they were surprised for I usually wait up for them...but I just didnt want them waking LO!

My body clock is getting all messed up with these weird hours of getting up...

    hugs to all
    JONI

I am tired for you, Joni! That is just too few hours to sleep to function and feel whoopy! Glad your children cleaned up and went to bed for you! That is awesome!

Trisch, I have inadvertantly told him about gaps. I was hoping he would look into it and then think it was his idea. Guess that went over like a lead balloon. He is one not willing to bend on things and knows best for his body. He claims he can't digest anything and it will make him sick. Very understandable if you have let your whole stomach eat through itself. I was thinking he probably won't be able to digest the foods because he is no longer creating the acid to break it down. Basically he is starving to death. Guess I will send a link. You can lead a horse to water but can't make them drink. Over and over we have tried to tell him to do something else but he still refuses. The worst part is I am tired of hearing about it when one will not change their ways. I am such a bad dil!

Jennifer, you are wuiet again! Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you!

    Pamela, how are you doing?

Wow Nikki! How sad! He may only be able to drink broth if he keeps that up!

Joni, that would be tiring! How nice your dc let you sleep!

We played and sang for a mother/daughter banquet tonight. It was kind of surreal--I went to a M/D banquet there 25 years ago with my oldest as a baby! My 20 yodd said, "I've never been to a mother/daughter banquet just to go--I've always been the entertainment!"

We've been singing/playing together for almost 15 years now--the now 14 1/2 yodd was a baby! The girls have this neat "Heaven Medley" I told them we should video and put on Youtube! If we do, I'll let you know!

Trisch, I think its so neat how you and your daughters play for functions. Sounds like a wonderful time!

Nikki, 1 mph over? See, I think its horrid of these people to destroy records and cause so much financial distress for something as stupid as 1 mph. And the havoc that's being caused for my sister? Oh gee. I don't know how much responsibility she needs to be claiming but he's kinda marred it up a whole lot! Seems so fishy. how sad about your fil! Horrid internal stuff to be accepting.

Joni, I'm tired for you too! You work so hard! I'm sure you'll be sad to have lo go to school but it will be nice for you to get needed naps. Naps are good and needed!

I did some weed eating tonight. Just felt good to get out. My poor dh. He's so busy. It's been one urgency after another and the last few days he's just so fed up with it. It's tough going through this refi with him being so so busy. I feel so guilty asking him for any bit of needed information. It was tearing him up today as the boys and I were trying to tackle the lawn. Our equipment is not waking up over the winter well and he hated not being able to work with us and help with it all! I could see it tearing at him. This schedule was suppose to calm down weeks ago and it seems to be keeping at a break-neck pace. He's resting 5-6 hours and is working most of the rest of the day. The appraisal in Thursday morning at 11a.m. She sounded nice on the phone. I wanted to blurt out the figure we need but not sure how kosher that is! I did ask her if cleanliness and tidy lawns affect the appraisal and she said no. I knew that but still question it. Anyhow...I'm pretty nervous. We only need her to say the house is 25K more than we bought it for and it saves us $125 a month and escrow issues. There was a time here where one could put there house up for sale at any price and the appraisal would match it! Not that that was good but the pendulum sure has swung.

    Hi all!!

I know I went MIA, but it was for a good cause. DH was home for 5 days after going on his quick business trip. We had lovely weather and did a lot around the house. We also celebrated 27 years of marriage on Friday night. Everything was going great until we went into a Coldwater Creek store as I needed something new for church. You can't wear the same 2 skirts and 2 tops and sing in the choir and not have people start to notice. Well...it was the most devestating experience I've had in a LONG time!!! I left there holding back the tears. Nothing fit, bigger sizes=no skirts on racks, and I had to go up a size on the tops and everything I tried on looked awful. An hour ride home and I hardly spoke. If I had I would have burst into tears. The whole weekend was a bust. One dd wanted to make me a food plan (I would have had to add GAPS friendly food). Then dh signed up the whole family for a hike the church is doing this coming Sunday. I told him I can't go. My Plantar Fascitis has flared up in my right foot. It is so painful. My right knee is doing better since I'm back to T-Tapping more regularly but it isn't up for trails with rocks and tree roots! I'm also having pain in my right calf...probably from the foot and knee pain. DH told me I had better do all I can to get healthy...he doesn't want to see me crippled by 60! (Turning 50 in a little over a week)

    WOW---that was depressing!!!

Rose--I hope your refi goes well and that your sister's situation will be worked out.

Joni--And I thought I was tired. I have NOTHING to complain about!!! Continuing to pray for you.

For any of you GAPS savvy people---should I buy the GAPS book or can I get the info I need online (for free)?

Must run...my sister will be here soon to T-Tapp and there are a few things I must take care of! Have a great day!

{{{Jennifer}}} Your "other sister" is coming out in ONE WEEK to whip you into shape!

    JK!

It is hard when those times happen--think about this, though. You've started being consistent again, and I wonder if some things are "shifting around"? I've had that happen sooo many times. I wasn't clothes shopping to find it out, but I could tell by the way my dresses fit or where my belly ball was at--seemed to shift up and then I had a muffin over my und*ies, for crying out loud! We'll check form and add some new tweaks--you got the DDT with the Healthy Hormones dvd, didn't you?

HUGS again! Can't believe a week from today we'll be on our way!

Oh, Jennifer!!! Hugs! I'm so sorry you are feeling this way! I know Mercola did a long interview with the doctor who does gaps, there is a transcript under the interview link :

    http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...interview.aspx

Rose - Praying for you and the house appraisal. I'm so sorry your DH is working his hinney to the max. Praying that slows down too.

Trisch - Awww on the M/D banquet. How sweet! I've love to see the video.

Just hanging out here. I need to clean, that blasted cleaning fairy didn't show up AGAIN! The nerve!

Gorgeous weather here, I did get a quick bike ride in. Yeah!

I'd have to agree! There is a lot of good info and several blogs that are great, but the book is the "GAPS Bible"!
