No, I hadn't heard of that! That would give you reason to think things through! And honestly--if we could get out in the media how many allergies and other issues with "safe" milk (by their standards) and the health issues that causes, I think we'd find the track record not so good! Or what's in the milk before the pasteurize it!

I'm so glad your sister got a lawyer! Hope everything turns out well! That is just soooo wrong!

Class went well--I figured it would! I did take longer, though, and forgot there was a 4-H meeting tonight and they were waiting on the room! oops! I told them if that ever happens again, just let us know!

whoops, forgot to add that the cake was quite sweet and I will next time add less honey and I think perhaps less coconut oil also!

Great story Joni! So wonderful what you are doing.

So glad the class went well Trisch!

Joni, I'm doing ok. I had a horrid head quivering headache pop up yesterday that I took Ibuprofen for...I had to function. It started again today but I was able to avoid it...thank goodness. I took some herbs that I think helped. I did e-mail Lino today to ask his opinion. He said to ride it out. I hope that's all it is...connected to the crud healing! I do think I'm improving as time goes on. And aren't you one to talk telling me to take it easy! I will/am (as much as possible) ...now you do it! the cake sounds good!

I just got the document list from the mortgage company and my head is spinning from it!!! I have a lot to dig up and get signed and faxed in the next 48 hours. This is where I wish I was a better record keeper. I think I'll clean up the kitchen, go to bed and tackle it tomorrow.

You are talking about the bean cake, right? When I double the recipe, I am using 1 cup honey, instead of 2 1/4 cups. So, less than half. It is still plenty sweet. I have cut the oil back, too, though I have been using mostly butter, because it is cheaper. I made a six times batch yesterday! We are using it as our main bread.

I have been struggling, healthwise. The mastitis really did me in. When I first started feeling better, I did too much too fast and had a set back. We had to cancel our 10th Anniversary date because I just could not pull off getting the kids ready and out to our friends house and then being out myself. I just laid around all day. I was really disappointed. I haven't been out alone with DH for over a year. Plus I had high expectations for the day. We hope to go out to eat this Friday instead.

Ruthie is nursing well about 3/4 of the time. We still have a few challanges, but they are gradually reducing. That is such a relief!

    Misty, Happily married Momma to 6 precious kids, Rosy - 8, Grace - 7, Lizzie - 5, Andy - 4, Rebekah 2 months, and Ruthie - 6 months.

Joni - Wonderful story! :-) I really enjoyed it. I bet your LO is so cute with the painted nails! Ok, I dread doing my DD's, she makes it a long process cuz she wants to put on flower sticker. It takes me 30 min to do that and about 2 hours before she picks them all off! Grr.

Trisch - Loved your Ttapp story! Glad you got through your class. :-)

Rose - Sooo, glad your sister got a lawyer. Wrong date on the tickets too?? Um, what was the cop drinking at the bar??? The ice cream was a mixed bag at my house. It had a canned after taste thing going on. A little strange, but it was really good until the after taste. I'm thinking it was the kind I used. I have some coconut cream, which comes in solid blocks and you dilute it, doesn't have that taste. I think it might have worked for the ice cream better. I use the blocks for my coconut curry chicken. Yummo!

Misty - Hugs! Praying you get your date soon! My DH and I do our dates during school because we don't know any baby sitters.

Misty, I can't remember the last time I was alone with dh. There is always someone tagging along. I so understand the disappointment! Hope it can be rearranged. Hope you feel better soon!

Rose, that is crazy with your sister. I had a friends mom who got pulled over by a cop. This woman always drove the speed limit and never drove crazy. She went to fight it in court. The judge deemed her 1 mile over the speed limit and still made her pay the fine! Talk about crazy! I think they are just looking for money since the gov is low on funds and like to take it out on unsuspecting people! Praying you can be rid of your pmi!

Trisch, sorry you weren't feeling well and whoot for getting through your class!

Joni, lovely story! I agree with the rest take a rest. I think your dh hit the burnout that you now have early! I am sure he can sympathize and would cut you slack! So wish you could just take an extended vacation just to get away from it all!

I need to write down the cake recipe!

    Hi Wendy!

Forgot to tell you guys about my fil! I figured since we were talking about raw and veggie.... He has chron's and insist on this diet. Well the dr told him there is nothing left to his stomach from the way he has been eating. He has been digesting his stomach from the lack of eating. Kinda scarey! Thing is I don't think he will try anything else. Just another plug to listen to your body! His tear ducts are no longer draining and he has really bad cataracts too. That is not to mention if he doesn't eat tons of kale he gets sinus things with breathing. Just thought I would throw that in since we were just talking about gsg.
