Default Alfalfa & Hot Flahes Questions

My local ladies have some questions, and maybe you can help me answer them. Kirsten thought the forum might be a good place to ask. Here you go:

    1. How long does it take to see relief from hot flashes (hormonal balance) with the Alfalfa. I told them it required 12 caps/day. My guess was at least 1 1/2 months to get through a complete cycle or more, but I would love to hear your stories.

    2. Do you need to remain on the Alfalfa after the hot flashes subside? My guess is "yes." I know that Teresa takes it still and is through menopause, but I realize she also takes it for other reasons.

    3. Anyone know more about the statement regarding the "100 and something to 200 ft. tap root." I mentioned that and got responses from online researchers that tap roots for alfalfa generally are maybe 9 ft. I don't doubt that this product could be different, but I would like to have some documentation on that, if I understood it correctly. Of course, we don't want to mislead anyone.

    4. A good friend of Michelle's (sorry still learning names), and not sure if she is a trainer or not (maybe lives in Florida) told me at the retreat that she has her story about breezing through menopause on Alfalfa. Anyone know where that story is on the site or forums. She told me, but I forgot. Perhaps it is listed on a trainer's page.

    Thanks everybody!
    Linda O.

    Linda,

Question 1 is, it depends... How long is a person going to have hormonal imbalance with menopause effect? Maybe going back to the PMS history? My sister and I are blessed with minimal PMS, she said she is menopause now, and never had hot flashes. She asked our mother, my mother did not even know about hot flashes. I don't have PMS unlessl I am not well and not taking care of myself, so, hotflashes is probably a reflection of prior history, family history and current hormonal condition. I probably will have none and will just continue my 6 a day routine for nutrient and skin benefit when my time comes.

I am sure if Teresa mentioned 100 to 200 Ft taproot in her personal profile CD, that is the taproot that the BBB alfalfa crop that she is getting from S. Ca. It is a long established company, and the root systems can be long established. It is reaching into the unspoiled undepleted soil for the nutrients.

She is getting the crop due to relationship, I think she mentioned it at the retreat luncheon, her college buddy working as a key scientist in this company that allows her take a shipment every now and then.

I think you might want to sent your questions to the T-Tapp office if you want it from the official source.

From some prior posts from Trisch mentioned Teresa was taking 24 pills at some point at the highest for menopause management. Once that was over, she went back down to 6 a day?

My approach to natural food source supplement: up it until you have relief, as there is no dosage limit. You will not be harming your liver or kidney with food. We only do dosage limit because of the pharma chemical is harsh on the liver and kidney, and thereby, we check the patient's weight to estimate the size of the liver for the maximum dosage and for how many days (before the liver sustains serious harm). The upside of using 24 pills is the cost, but, I am suffering and swimming in my own sweat, I will take 30 pills day (less than 6 dollars a day, kind of like an Vente Starbuck with flavoring syrup).

There is that testimony on MORE of the lady who sailed through menopause and hadn't even realized it until her dr mentioned that she now post-menopausal. I can't remember her name, but it's on that DVD under "Meet the Team"

ayj67: I have talked to a lot of older women...like in their 80s....who have no idea what hot flashes are....I wish I knew what we are doing wrong. I have tried everything and still have them. It just seems so strange.

    Suzie,

Carb, refined carb. If you are still having hotflashes, I remember Teresa mentioned somewhere about carb in the evening and hotflashes.

I have a dear friend who just turned 33, got bad edometriosis. She got the biggest ones out, and was put into a chemically induced menopause so that maybe the other cysts would starve off. She always has bad PMS, TOM, she cannot get out of bed and take midols like candies.

So, I did mention about no carb for evening if she has hot flashes, sure enough, she has horrendeous hot flashes. It was a lot better when she cut off carb after 5pm. She was more than happy to do that, as she was preparing for her wedding and wanted to lot her best in her wedding.

If you are taking a lot of alfalfla already, cut carb in the evening.

I don't have PMS and not peri yet, so, I am not going to give your personal testimony, but I think the bad carbs has to do with it, long time ago, people do not have that much carb. They eat real food. (yes, my friend was on high carb, low fat, processed food diet until edometriosis surgery).

Hi everyone... I'm on a rush out the door but I'll return later tonight after meetings to answer more questions but ayj67 is spot on (good job!)...but fyi, now that I am done with menopause (WOO HOO!!!) I only take 6 capsules (sometimes 9) of Premium Blended Alfalfa each day....for LOTS of health and beauty benefits. I usually take on an empty stomach first thing am (3), mid afternoon (2 or 3) and evening after dinner (2 or 3)....but still works well for those who prefer to take with food. I also take 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider vinegar + 1 tablespoon of Barlean's Olive Leaf liquid extract (peppermint) with 3-4 oz of water first thing am and after dinner.

    Hope this helps...
