    Default Week 2 Results

    Hi All,

I lost a full inch in the waist on week 1 and another 1/2 inch on week 2. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a journey and I can't get to where I want as quick as I want. I know I'm heading down the right path and I do feel better. Wish I could turn off these silly little mind games that tell me "it's too slow, it won't happen, you're kidding yourself."

    Onward to week 3.

    Larry

Way to go Larry!!! Yah, the mind games are probably the hardest part of anything we do. But you WILL get there - just be consistent and ENJOY the journey!

    Larry,

Do you only measure at one spot?

I just measure waist and abdomen. If you saw me, you'd understand my belly IS my issue. Maybe I should measure more, but I don't really have any concerns about the rest of me. I believe in balance and am trying to integrate this into my normal routine. I'm open to suggestions, for sure. I do want to succeed, but I tend to follow the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) method whenever I can.

    Larry,

To fully see the T-Tapp impact, you might want to measure all the spots recommended even you only care about your belly and abdomen.

You probably will have more define cut and bigger biceps. Tightening and toning more and more muscular, as you are a man.

I wonder the OIP will work on you as well as woman. Do you have the book? It is included in the DVD comes with the book, it is called the secret of a flat stomach.

We believe in activation of the muscles that will push and start burning the fat. Once you activate and use the ab muscles more, the belly burns faster.

If you don't have the DVD, that is ok, you can download the written instruction from the T-Tapp Site http://www.t-tapp.com/try/index.html

We have another other old threads talk about this. This move will help you understand when we say tuck butt, it is not just the glute, it is the tightening of the Transverse Adominal Muscles. Tightening the TVA is very important to tuck butt AKA "curl the core".

    http://forum.t-tapp.com/showthread.php?74688-OIP-help!

I lost one inch on my ad for doing 5 times of OIP from the instructions when I was waiting for my book and DVD. I don't think I even did it right, but try the best you can, it will enhance your standing workout once you know you are supposed to tighten TVA the whole time when you are "tuck butt".

Larry, you are doing BWO+, right?

Oh, in addition, if you have abnormal gain, or certain area not moving, we can tell from your inch loss distribution that whether you are activating right or not. So, measure like the rest of us.

    That's great, Larry!

Yes, it's a journey--we all have had our ups and downs or plateaus. I know men tend to lose easier than women, but that doesn't mean it will all come off instantly!

And you're right--turning off the mind games is probably the hardest part! I've went through a lot of letting go in that area myself! It did take me a bit longer than I wanted to get to this point, but I had health issues along the way. So to be here AND healthy is great!

    Keep up the good work!

    Hi ay67!

I think I understand the tuck. I did Pilates previously, and the tightening and pressing the belly button against the spine is not new. Actually, there are parts of this that remind me of Tai Chi as well. I just love it so far. I do have the book and I know the ab routine and the hoe downs are on the video. I'll give the ab routine a try. What about the SAI? I was looking at that on line the other night. I've thought many times after doing the BWO+ that I should go for a walk. Could I do BWO+ daily and alternate SAI and OIP after that?

I appreciate everyone's help! Have a great weekend!

    Larry

    Larry,

SATI (Step Away the Inches), yes, definitely if you have the strength and the stamina. Stepping is very lymphatic, it gets rid of toxin and lactic acid (that make you feel sore after a workout), it will stimulate immunity, and also move the liquidfied fat to get burn off faster. Definitely incorporate stepping or walking into your regular activities.

I think we have a Feb special for SATI and Step It to the Max (SITTM). SITTM is like a bootcamp with a lot of side lifts, but certainly will be very very cardio. I only do it on the week and I want to test my endurance and stamina. After SITTM, I won't workout for 2 straight days.

There is one more stepping program that is excellent, it is call the Broom. It is a retreat series, there is a lot more talk, and there is a lot of information. One of the warm up is a modified More (that is the best learning workout for rehab). If you have not found your lats yet or you are trap dominant that you hurt your upper back all the time, this workout will be more important.

The Broom will put you back to the correct alignment. I do think it will be great for you, as the correct shoulder to hip, hip to heel alignments will correct a lot of the foot, ankle, knee and hip problem. Things are never isolated, one weak point will cause problem on the other ones.

I have weak ankle and bad knees, if the knees is over extended to compensate for the weak knees that I am prone for knee injuries as always.

I wonder how you are faring on your standing on last 3 toes while KLT. That will be the way to step the whole time, and will be the recommended way to walk to rehab. Standing the last 3 toes will rebuild arches, and I hope it will help your condition and you ankle will get stronger too.

When we put SATI after BWO+, it is a long workout, you will be doing EOD (Every Other Day) schedules only. If you want to do something on the rest day, no more than 20 mins of T-Tapp, if you must do some workout, choose either BWO+ OR SATI, but not both together on rest days.
