Thread: Boot Camp Probs

  1. #1

    Default Boot Camp Probs

For the past three weeks I keep trying to do a boot camp and I can never get a full consecutive four days in! For some reason on day-3 or day-4 it just doesn't happen. So I try again and I haven't been able to get a full 4day boot camp in, let alone a 14day! Ugh!

Please tell me I am still getting some sort of benefit out of all this, right? But I'm not sure if I should quit trying to get the boot camp in at this point and just switch to an every other day schedule now. What are your thoughts oh wise seasoned tappers? I am trying to lose 3-4 sizes. Help?

GOOD NEWS!!! You are reaping EXCELLENT benefits by just DOING the workout! AND you do not need more than a 4 day bootcamp, anything else is just icing on the cake! Just remain consistent follow the golden rules (hydrate, fuel your body well, get plenty of rest, find a way to destress if your day is crazy, and learn to love you, you ARE worht it!!)

From what I remember Teresa and trainers saying, day 3 or 4 can be very hard, but once you get past it, it gets better. Not to say that you have to do a bootcamp! What Michelle said is great. I just wanted you to know that many of us find that day 3 or 4 is very hard to get past...you are in good company!

Yes, listen to Michelle, she knows.

Muscle activation gives results, bootcamps or not. Bootcamp with bad forms, wrong alignments and poor activation will not give results.

Thank you for all the encouragement ladies! I will keep at it! It's not that I don't want to do it on days 3 or 4 it is just that life gets so extremely busy every third or fourth day or something that it just doesn't get worked in. So I will focus on proper alignment and muscle activation when I do get it in. I guess I will switch to an every other day schedule for now so that my body has time to rest in between instead of still trying to get a consecutive four days in a row for a boot camp.
