"I'm puzzled as to why my temps continue to stay low when I eat well. There has to be something else going on. It's a puzzle that I'm trying to solve... I figure maybe something will finally come together and work for me."
Trish posted a thread on "off Topics" title Wilson's Temperature Syndrome, I would look into that also!

its possible that you are not eating enough starchy carbs to actually make an impact in your temps. If you try the 30 days of actually eating as much good food as you can I bet your temps would move up. most of us are in a nutritional deficit and dont even realize it- our society is so obsessed with resitrction and watching what we eat that most of us are used to eating less that our bodies actually need. maybe you should do a week long experiment and take your temps at the same time every day and see if you get results/ did you get to see the free ebook about rrarf from the site?

because I can tell you I have eaten well for the past 8 years and never had my temps move up til I made a concentrated effort to do this. its not the same as just eating a bit of carbs with each meal, you are actually trying to flood your body with nutrition til your metabolism heals.

I just read all the entries on the "Living the Nourished Life" blog about the author's experience with RRARF. Very interesting. Now to read the ebook. Sigh... I'm supposed to be cleaning my house!

Very interesting! This is almost exactly the same list of lifestyle changes my doctor gave me for adrenal fatigue. It is also very similar to Schwarzbein Principle that I was (am) doing. I gained almost 10 pounds doing this and started to get discouraged. I did decreased my carbs with South Beach, but I am gradually increasing them again. Thursday I got test results back and found out my thyroid is not converting T4 properly. My doctor says that once my adrenals are healed my thyroid will function properly again. I guess I will keep on keeping on with it all. Thanks for posting this information.
Blessings,
Angie

Angie, what test did they do that showed you weren't converting T4 properly? I'm wondering if my thyroid issue is really an adrenal issue.
Good wishes always,
Linda
