Default Why do you lose points?

Can someone please tell me why we sometime lose points? Do we commit some kind of infraction?
    Thanks

Dianne, as far as I know no one has ever figured out how it works. We've discussed it before and the bottom line is...

Not very helpful, but that's about the size of it. Awards also come and go randomly. Most of us don't pay it much attention because there isn't any rhyme or reason that we can figure out.

Started T-Tapp in July 2010 after searching for a good strengthening/stretching/flexibility workout. I think I found it!

Thanks Peggy - I had only just noticed it because I was looking at my profile and then looked at the points and noticed I'd had some taken away and I went ???? - did I do something wrong? How bizarre!

I've wondered the same thing and never did figure out why.

I have searched looking for the same answers about how to earn T-Tapp points, what the benefit is, how do you get achievements and awards. No one seems to know the answer. Aren't there moderators or something that can tell us where to find the answers???

Vicki, the system came with the forum template. It could be used, I suppose, for something, but it's just kind of an "extra" that we just use for fun (usually a few of us like to tease each other about bouncing the activity award back and forth, etc!).

So you're not penalized if you lose an award or points (it might mean you have a life away from the forums! LOL!), nor are there any prizes for making this your second home (like I and a few others seem to do!).

There was a post by someone in the office awhile back about it, but I haven't found it since. Thought I bookmarked it, but apparently not! Anyway, that's it in a nutshell!

    Trisch,

I was thinking that I had seen a post on this as well. I'm sure, while lurking, I read about it, but now that I'm here, I could not find it! Let me know if you ever do find it! LOL

LOL Mary Ellen! It basically just shows the degree you live at the forums:
