    Default Consistency and Courage

I struggle with both consistency and courage and want to know how to go about developing both.

Do any of you have any pointers? In my gut I know just what I must do to improve my life, but struggle hard with consistency.

Loving T-Tapp, it's the most sensible system of exercise I've ever encountered.

Anna Louise, I have the same issues in some areas of my life!

I just read something about setting goals that really clicked for me--to set a long term goal, then walk it backwards. Now, I know others have said this, but I don't know...there was something in the way this lady laid it out that made sense finally! (I read it Large Family Logistics! LOL!)

That said, I realize that is exactly what I've done with certifications!

I have adrenal fatigue, getting better, but I have to be careful to not overdo. I teach 2 classes a week, with a df coming over about every other week. So that is basically 3 workouts a week. When can I practice my TWO? Definitely not on "off" days!

I came up with a plan--I read about the move in Fit and Fab or watch that segment on the dvds, then do 1-2 moves. I'm doing BWO+ weekly, with my class, so I'm not focusing on that with my few moves a day as much as the second half of TWO.

This is my second week doing this and it is working GREAT! At the end of every 2 weeks or so I will try to do the second half of TWO over 2 days. Then go back to the 1-2 moves a day. This way I will go through TWO 10 times by the time certs are here--and hopefully I'll know those moves in my sleep!

Sometimes we might need to break down our goal of consistency just a tad more--that's what I found. I'm using the "just 15 minutes a day" in other areas of my life. I have about 5 BIG areas that need decluttered, including finishing going through my dad and mom's stuff. It's too emotionally overwhelming to do that in too big of chunks, but I can handle 15 minutes at a time!

I'm going to do the same for homeschooling--my goal, of course, is to spend some longer segments some times, but too often I'm a "whole hog or nuttin'" kind of girl and...well, nuttin' is usually what gets done!

So if I spend 15 minutes on phonics here, and 15 minutes reading aloud there....eventually those habits will become more ingrained and I can add to them as necessary.

And I find I feel better about myself and my abilities by doing it this way--success breeds success!

    I hope that helps some!

    HUGS!
