supplements during pregnancy
Do you know of any good websites that rate the safety of supplements during pregnancy?
I know alfalfa is safe. I'm wondering about chlorella. And how much of other things like vitamin D, fish oil, etc. to take.
Thanks.

I use http://kellymom.com/ It is more geared toward breastfeeding, but when you get into what is safe she tells you about pregnancy too.

Alfalfa is very safe. There is always controversy on whether something is safe or not. I get tired of all the conflicting info. I do know that the fish oil is said to be good for the brain development and that vitamin d is essential. Some say the vitamin d can be taken up to 5,000 to 10,000 units a day.

I took alfalfa, probiotics, vit. D, and fish oil along with my (Garden of Life) RAW prenatals while I was pregnant.
I did not take any algae or chlorella just because of the detoxing affect, I know it is controversial.
