TV infomercial bras
You've seen them advertised, those Ahh Bras, the Genie Bras, the special infomercial bras. You step into them, they are seamless and without hooks. Well, I bit the bullet and ordered them. Love the way you step into them, love they way they feel, absolutely HATE the way your nipples show through...sorry if TMI. Does anyone know of bras like those that have a little bit more padding? I'm moderately endowed (not too big at all, actually on the smaller side) but I just hate to have nips showing.

Which one do you have? I wanted to try the Genie Bra, but read horribly negative reviews on it. I am a 38DD, so not sure if that would even work for me...

Holly, I bought the Ahh Bra but returned them because I couldn't wear them to work, thinking everyone was staring at the nips instead of listening to me. I just wondered if there was something similar in style out there in the stores. It's been a while since I shopped lingerie. Frankly, I'm not sure how anyone needing more than a "training bra" could wear them and NOT feel very self-conscious. Maybe it's just me. Or maybe, I hope, there is something this comfortable with a tad more padding. Let's hope so anyway!

I have seen those, looks like the nursing bras I had. Yes, you might need to add a nursing pad, or a pad that stays put if you don't want to show. Actually, that was what I was thinking, why do I need to buy more, I just need to fish out those nurshing bras.

I have the Genie Bras. I was happily surprised that they have a tiny bit of padding, so no nipple show-through. I want to order more because I truly love them. I'm a B and I got a medium because I'm about a size 10. Next time I will get Large. My daughter is small build but broader ribcage and she said the M cut into her.
I love everything about the bras but don't care for the black and they come in black, tan and white. I don't wear black. They are lovely under those outfits that seem to slide off your shoulders. I feel nice and modest in them. I'm in my 60's and the shape is very youthful. Support is good. Like the infomercial says, they are very smooth on the body. No bumps or fat sticking out anyplace, they lay nice and flat.
We are all different but for me I can't love them enough! They also make lacey ones and fancy ones with a wild print but these are only available for customers who have already ordered. They also make some with pads for nipples but truly the ones they sent me are fine. I didn't know they would be slightly padded. They wash well in the machine with no change whatsoever but I don't put them in the dryer. I've only worn two out of the six they sent me so far.

Thanks, all! Ronnie, I think I might order the Genies and see if their "extra" padding will be enough. Ohmyhead, I don't know about wearing two at once. But now, the petals? I get a mental image of pasties that strippers might wear -- tell me I'm wrong??? Or better yet, forgive my ignorance, but explain to me exactly how they work.

I did it - I ordered the Genie Bras. I can't believe they tell you standard shipping is 3-4 WEEKS!!! That is via UPS and processing and shipping on 6 bras (3 paid for, 3 "free") is $25. Yeah, right. Whatever. I ordered them and hopefully, will be thrilled. If not, Ohmyhead, I may be checking into those petals :0

Gwen,
They told me 4-6 weeks and I couldn't figure out how they shipped them. Well they came in the mail in exactly two weeks and two days! I was so pleased! I sure hope you love them as much as I do.........

Just happened on these at Kmart when I wasn't looking for them -- was looking for furnace filters. They were 2 for $19.99 and thanks to this thread I knew I wanted to try them next time I needed new bras.
I'm a D and am 65 and these work for me! The girls are sitting high and supported and the pads hide my prominent nips (nursed 3 kids). Threw them into the washer and dryer, though might line dry if I have the time, but this time I wanted to wear them ASAP. They are very comfy and love that there's no back fat lines, no spillage, some separation and good support. If the straps show looks like a cami. So far I'm sold!

I wear the Genie bra and just love it. I'm a 34 DD. I first ordered a medium and wear them doubled. I just ordered the small because I believe they will fit better and I will only need to wear one bra for the support. I think they fit the rib cage and not the breasts, judging by the previous comments on this thread.
