    Default Weighted Shoes?

    Hi,

I'm new to T-Tapp and I'm not really sure what you mean by weighted shoes. Are you talking about the toning shoes like Skechers Shape Ups? I'm from Australia so may be we call it something different here!

Weighted shoes has 1-3 lbs of weight in the sole (some might be insert in the sole). Hit the Floor Softer is done with weighted shoes, if you have that DVD, those are the weighted shoes. Also, Teresa discussed weighted shoes for Step Away the Inches, the extra weight will force you to automatically tuck your butt, therefore, it will create more conistent butt tuck and more cardio and muscle activation.

They can be ordered here - http://www.metatreks.com/
But if you decide to get a pair please make sure you are NOT t-tapping in them except for SATI. They are perfect for walking as well though you will need some time to adjust

Nikken also makes weighted shoes, but the weights are inserts you can remove and replace with regular insoles that also come with them. I wish I had known about those and gotten them rather than the MetaTreks. They would get worn a lot more! I rarely wear my MetaTreks and usually forget about them in the back of my closet. It would be nice to be able to remove the weights.

MetaTreks had a clearance sales for $88 woman size and $50 for men size. Only some sizes and some color is left. Not sure if the company is going out of business or not.

I just checked out the Nikken, they are $199 a pair. Oh well, I am not wearing it outside (even with my $50 Sketcher Energy), so I think I can do $88 to enjoy SATI and SITTM, maybe HTFS if I am brave?
