double postings - how to stop!
Hi,
it seems everytime I post I end up "double posting". What am I doing wrong? I swear I'm only hitting the button once!
-
I have the same problem.
What I have started doing is, hitting the post button, then highlighting the text, if it's still on the page and nothing had changed, and copying (just in case), then pressing the refresh button at the top of the page and seeing if my post posted or not.
Make sense?

I can't get the forum to let me start a thread. Help! I'm new here and it just keeps giving me an error.
-
Obviously it allows me to reply to posts though... weird.
-
Oh, here is the error it gives me when I try starting a thread:

It does that for us all---we just realize it really did post and hit back and go on!
If you want to be sure, copy and paste your post before posting and then double check!

I finally figured out that it posts EVEN IF IT DOESN'T APPEAR to. If I posted something long, I copy it before I submit in case, but almost all of the time if you hit "whats new", your post will be there.
