Tonight as I was getting ready to teach my T-Tapp class, I confess I was feeling really off. I felt like crying and hiding in a hole for 6 months! Not sure what was going on--I had gotten an e-mail from a df I'm a bit concerned about, but nothing horribly earth-shattering, not TOM nor close....just very strange.
I got to my class, we warmed up with PBS, then did Oil Wells, T-Tapp Twist and Hoedowns (this class is mostly total newbies, so we've been learning a few moves each week).
Can I just say that it wasn't long and I was feeling SO much better?! The difference was night and day in my attitue and emotions! Before I was feeling like a total failure as a wife, mom and trainer (for no good reason, either!) and afterward I felt uplifted--no crying or hiding for me now!
It also helped that my df Bev (eshlemania) let me know she could see improvement and that I was more at ease in my teaching (thanks, Bev!) but I really, truly feel getting some moves in helped clear out some yucky-feeling emotions!
Guess it goes to show when we least feel like working out is the time we most need to go push play!
T-Tapp--not only for physical health but emotional well-being as well!
Thank you, Teresa!
