Aurora, you've really been battling sickness, and Tempo Arms is a full workout. You can take today off, but do a PBS if you need to.

Yeah, I had my dd who is more into science read my essay on the joints, and she thought it was pretty good! Not exactly a bedtime thriller to read, though! LOL!

    HUGS!

Am I too spoiled to start saying I am tired of feeling tired?

Oh, Aurora, I understand about feeling sick and tired...sick and tired of being sick and tired! I made it through teaching my cooking class today without coughing too much. One DD went off with a friend for the rest of the day and to spend the night AND shopping tomorrow. Other DD went out to lunch with me, to Costco, Target (found some roper type boots for only $12.50! I have wanted some boots for awhile!) and about 3 more stops. Pickedup DGD, have had dinner, and when I get off here I am going to climb in bed and read. Aurora, you should do the same if your children will let you.

Tomorrow I am going to try and do BWO+. Last time I WO it was last Saturday. I have never had this much time off from TTapp. Oh, well. Such is life.

Melanie, if your boyfriend doesnt want the sweets around either, dont feel guilty about throwing them out. I doubt his parents will come back to check and see ifyou still have them.

Hi Nancy, boot shopping is nice. I was never able to pull a boots on my huge calves, now is slimming down, maybe next year I can get boots.

I just cook the potluck dish for my 9 yo's Taekwondo class. I really am ready to lie down, I need to call DH and see if he is coming home to pick up the dish or I will need to bring it down, that will cut into my nap time. Started a pot of chicken stock though, so I can throw in a quick chicken vege soup later. If the kids are fed, I still have my green smoothie backup plan.

Today, my work got me mentally tired too. The only saving grace is that I don't need to do my 2 hour commute during my sick week.

I am still planning to do a floor exercise this week. I will see how it goes tomorrow.

I didn't work out today. Tomorrow will be my 4th WO of the week, though. So finally I will meet my goal! I've been very busy the last few days and haven't had much time to be visiting with y'all. I hope to catch up on reading all the threads tonight and tomorrow. Glad most of you are on the mend. Hopefully everyone will be well soon.

    Blessings,

Well--my 12 day TWO bootcamp turned into a 10 one after my myofascial release session on Thursday. But I'm listening to my body and honoring the way I feel. I was able to do some floor work, but decided Thursday and Friday will be my off days after the bootcamp.

Aurora, I ended up sleeping in the recliner downstairs last night because I was coughing so bad and didnt want to keep my DH up and lying flat just didnt seem to be working. A bit ago I finally bit the bullet and drank some ACV with cayenne pepper in it and some water (you didnt mention water, but I knew I couldnt drink it full strength). Oh, my! I have stopped coughing! At least chronic coughing. And my nose is running! When I went to Costco yesterday I bought this kit for flushing the sinuses (like a netty pot) and it works really well. Very strange sensation. I'm not taking that cough medicine anymore. It makes me sleepy which is nice, but it didnt do much for my cough last night.

Today is my DGD's 2nd birthday, but I dont have to do much of the cooking, so that is nice. Not sure I will get a WO in. Just still not feeling up to it. It will be so nice to get back to normal one of these days!

This is the reasonable thing to cut the bootcamp to 10 days when your body protest. It is wise and 10 days is no chump deed. Congratulations. So, rest for 48 hours at least before measuring. If you are still tired, rest for 3 days. Bootcamp does not decide on final results, it is the form and consistency. Congratulations again.

Hi Nancy, there should be honey involved, but if you can take it without honey, less calories, LOL.
Oh the day or two before you see my cayenne rave, I think I did mention 2-3 tablespoon of ACV, 1-2 teaspoon of honey, 1/8 - 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne in 8 oz of water as what seems to be a cure-all from Earthclinic: cough, cold, sore throat, flu, bronchitis, stomach flu, etc.

Anyway, raw honey is antibacterial too and soothing for the throat, but at this stage, sore throat is not the issue, so you can do without it. Well, when you take it like a medicine alternative, ACV is not that bad, thinking about it is not going to hurt your liver. I love my liver, and I want it to function without ipediment of other chemical.

I start finding all kind of use for vinegar. I found lichens on the side of my terracotta tile roof facing north (we got valley fog in the morning all the time). The reason I was looking around is I have a lot of pollutants in my house (being messy and hate cleaning the house is the reason and I will have to fix that over time when I am well). We are in small cluster houses and next door (maybe even half a block down) people smoke and I can smell cigarette smoke coming in from the fresh air intake. It was annoying when I am healthy, it causes me to cough when I have not recovered from bronchitis. So, I replaced a Merv 10 furnace filter, that helps a little. I add a makeshift active carbon filter (get a activated carbon pre-filter for HEPA unit and, taped it to the furnance air vent with duct tape), it does not help, until I figure out I have to put the central fan on, to suck in the fresh air to the furnace to circulate. It improved 80 - 90%, but not entirely, especially when I am sensitve. So, I walked around to spot the frest air to contemplate whatever I can do and spotted the lichens.

Long story short, found all kind of things to do, including installing a zinc strip on the roof (which I will not do). I finally see that use 5% acidity level vinegar (mix with detergent, so that it will cling) will kill the lichens in a few days. I think that will be in order next week, and rain should be coming soon, I need to do that a few day before the rain, so after lichens are killed, the rain will do the clean up. Full strength vinegar kills mold and mildew in the shower, let it sit for 10 mins. Previously, I told you guys that the rusted part of the blender blade (when the nail down part), I used vinegar and baking soda to remove the rust (let it sit for half and hour or an hour).
