    Thumbs up Thanks, Bev!

I am so glad Bev posted this:

    http://forum.t-tapp.com/showthread.p...pecifially-PBS

    Because tonight I needed it!

I was hanging blouses on our sunroom windows (we jokingly call them our curtains!). Yes, I bought a nice contraption from Vermont Country Store so we would not have to stand on chairs to hang laundry to dry in the windows. It was full. So I stood on a chair, needed to get down to move the chair. Problem was, somebody's children left the lid of the Rubbermaid tub containing the marble run on the floor.

Do you know what a Rubbermaid lid on a laminate floor becomes?

    A sled!!!

Unfortunately, I was not prepared for sledding, therefore I landed face forward on my left thigh, hand and shoulder/ribs. It took a few minutes to feel okay enough to sit up!

After testing everything (good thing I just took that CPR class where we learned to check everything when someone falls! ) I remembered what Bev said. I got up and did PBS.

I still have some sore spots, but am amazed how my chest area isn't quite as sore as it was.

I'm going to go rub on some mag gel and go to bed!

So Bev, I'm sorry you fell, too, but I am SO glad you thought to do PBS right away and then post about it!

    HUGS!

(And yes, tomorrow's homeschool health lesson will be about safety--and what NOT to leave on the floor!!!)

Oh, Trisch, I'm so glad you didn't get badly hurt when you fell. And so glad that you knew what to do. Hope you aren't too sore tomorrow.

Started T-Tapp in July 2010 after searching for a good strengthening/stretching/flexibility workout. I think I found it!

Thought to lose the 'baby weight' from the baby that is now three years old, my fifth child, my mid-life babe.

Discovered I *loved* the TTapp stretching, then found I'd lost 32.73 inches after SEVEN weeks!!! (including a bootcamp). Downsized to a 10!! As of November, 2010, 44.75 inches!!!

Determined I'd go beyond my original goal of "two sizes in four weeks" . . . so I'm headed to my pre-pregnancy size, folks: a 6!!!!

I am 59 and stronger than I have ever been and more than ready for this next stage of life. I plan on keeping my muscle strength, bone strength and flexibility through t-tapp way into my 90's. Think of all the fun I am going to have the next 30 years!!
