    Thanks for bumping Denae!

I wish I had seen this a few weeks ago.

I've always associated plateau = bad = failure = must work harder

Letting go of that wrong idea right now!

It's a tough one to let go of--but soooo freeing once you do!

Wow, Trisch! I really have been focused too much on losing quickly, rather than realizing it is a journey! your testimony is amazing and extremely encouraging! Thanks for sharing this thread with me!! Blessings!

    You're quite welcome, Leah!

Yes, Abbie, it's a good reminder! And on the other side, it was a GOOD thing my losses came the way they did! Now to remember that in the middle of the journey!

I just read this whole tread. I will keep this in mind as I start the 60-day challenge (unofficially). I am reading the stuff about adrenal glands for the first time and not sure if any of it applies to me or not. Have never tested anything like that. How do you know whether you have problems with adrenals or not? I have usually lost my pregnancy weight eating less and occasionally focusing a bit more on walking/doing some Pilates. But as I am getting older, I find this is much more difficult. I do know that I am eating way too much and way too many carbs and yeast breads... it's the cheapest way to feed this large family. I really want to eat better, but do not want to make a mistake of making things worse for my body.

Trisch, I know in the past year or so you made some changes in your eating for your daughter, but if youn don't mind me asking, I'm wondering (if you remember) how your eating would have been, say during 07 and 08 where I saw you said you had no losses. I seem to be in that kind of pattern right now and wondering if I'm needing to change anything or just continue being consistent and wait...?
